Kevbev 411
She should have waited with the video. I feel like since she released a video, radio feels like the gp knows guy is out but most don't. If radio came first, they would know the song wouldn't rise unless they played it. They would expect low itunes numbers. Low itunes with music video show radio that people don't like it, even though the music video didn't get much streams in the us Could just be me being delusional but I feel like video should have came after radio add date. No, that is how it's supposed to go. Of course GaGa and her team did the exact opposite though. Videos are supposed to further push songs, not come out before them. Bt1 5,213
I seriously don't know WTF YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT! I have repeatedly, over and over, stated that there is nothing magic about this date! You clearly have me confused with someone else! Please stop misrepresenting my words and opinions! So you werent the one who said when everyone ask what is with the april 8 add date that it is a good date that will help the song build exposure on radio, while she does a lot of radio interviews, because thats what artists do as legal payola before the add date so that when the magic date that made everybody confused, but not you, will come all will make sense? Ok sorry. Who was that guy? Well, lets wait another month guys now. Im hoping that Gaga wont do any promo or wont have any deal because that will hurt her building radio exposure. craig 680
an era should be going strong when its just the 3rd single. Daft Punk (1), Kesha (1), Timberlake (2), Miley (2), Rihanna (2) - lot of hyped artists haven 't has success beyond the 2nd single, or even the first one. Hard to think of anyone since Jan 2013 with 3 really successful singles, except Mackelmore
Morphine Prince 106,045
This album deserved some hits. I think this is it though. There's nothing that can be done. I'm looking forward to the next album. Hopefully her and Bobby will make some good decisions and make it a successful era. Act II should be an EP like TFM. Maybe that will bring attention to the album.
chris777 112
I knew there was a problem when one track barely made it on the top 80 when the album was released

I mean, look at Beyonce! Even though she did release her album out of nowhere, Drunk in Love was hyped as hell, radios supported it and Grammy performance yet it hasn't reached 2 M in sales? Let alone her other singles.. Katy, on the other hand had Roar - lead single, but then Uncle "flopped" even though it was well promoted everywhere... Dark Horse was a gp/fan favorite from the beginning so...
Rollercoaster 2
Why does everyone suddenly think radio is going to play it? you're only setting yourselves up.
StarryNight 10,106
I actually think this is the ONLY thing that can bring some attention back to this album... I said exactly that like one month ago

It is really hard sometimes to understand what you are talking about. I don't think your first comment was worded the way you wanted it interpreted and I don't understand this part at all. Your two statements (to me) don't have anything to do with one another, as I interpret them. I really think it is best if we no longer quote each other, from this time forward. Please don't refer to my comments or mention my name anymore and I will do the same with you. Let's keep this thread focused on discussing the charts! craig 680
The deeper long-term worry is that radio will decide that John Legend and Aloe Blacc music is what their public wants, and not so much dance pop. They supported Zedd and Ellie Goulding`s Burn more than they sold on itunes, but how long will it continue if non-pop artists are selling better
Fernando 9
I was totally confident that G.U.Y was aiming for full control of all charts, I mean, it has the best video ever and is the best song on the album. Why is the GP doing this to her? why?? This song still can´t flop. Let´s just wait for better updates from now
