That is not Gaga taking a break. That is radio not playing her song. (yet) If they don't end up picking the airplay up to make it a top 20, they don't. What do you want Gaga to do about it?

I think artists shouldn't take long breaks but they shouldn't make album an every year. A two year break is fine because it leaves enough time for people to anticipate more, while four years make people forget especially depending on the genre of music. Artists should have breaks. The ones that write and take time to become involved with their work always take longer. An artist that releases music too quickly, end of with songs that sound the same. JMO

You will get it, and the music video would be very twisted, surreal, like when she is on tour. everything gonna be bigger. she will wear a huge piano as a backpack, running in high heels. i promise

She does what she should do trying to push GUY in any possible way. We will see if it will work. If it will, then as I said this will be good for her and her tour schedule, because she could easily release a 4 single.

 

If not, it would not matter for radio. It will be like she take a break during Dwuw.

Gaga has a lot lot of things planned for the era, and will do them all.

I'm surprised about little managers talking about ending the era after GUY when she has stated herself a million times she's expanding it for 2+ years and all the talk about her plans including that huge space project.

Whether or not the public will embrace ARTPOP, she'll do everything she planned from the beginning and the era won't end before at least the 5th single.

And that will mean that radio and the general listening public did not grab on to her third single. If Gaga, her team and Interscope are doing all they can do, in the way of radio promo, to push this third single, there is nothing else that Gaga, her label or her team can do to change the outcome.

If G.U.Y. even does moderately well, they will most likely push a fourth single. That's the ideal outcome, but there are many factors outside of their control at this time. They are doing all they can do to make it work, though.

I agree with you, except the part about Gypsy. I can't see them trying for a fourth single, if G.U.Y. doesn't end up doing well...but maybe they will surprise me! I wouldn't mind it, at all!

I think she needs to debut the first single off the next album at the space performance. The amount of promo it'll get will be insane and it'll almost assure a top 10 hit.

Oh yeah. Anyone who thought Gaga would be performing solely old hits like BR or BTW isn't thinking clearly. It wouldn't surprise me if she's already written the song she's going to perform, and it's totally kick-butt, and she's saving it.
