Earlier that week, Gaga announced that the first single from her new album, Born This Way, would be hitting radio the morning of 11th. IIRC, the earliest any station would play the record would be 6am. The hype for this song escalated. Sometime during the night,Tampa Bay radio station WFLZ announced on their twitter page that they would be the first to play the song. Around 4am EST, they did, being the first radio station in the world to play the song This is my recording from that exact night. Recorded from their internet stream using Audacity. I've provided the files in both FLAC and MP3. There are 3 files. The first being the 93.3 intro. The second being the full broadcast, and the third being the DJ banter before he plays it for the first time. I have also included 3 threads from the 4chan board /mu/ of the night of the broadcast. The first thread starts a few hours before and goes through the first play of the song with people's first reaction. The second picking up sometime during the first broadcast while the third being after it.
