Why did she pay dust to Heavy Metal Lover?

It's one of her best songs. I don't think it had single appeal though.

It really is

It makes me feel old because it reminds me of the European electronic music of the 90s and 2000s that allowed her to become so iconic :emma:

I wanted HML as a single the most

S**t was iconic. At least it was around during a time when she didn't "need" it technically. And the "I could be your girl" part is literally one of my favorite things.

Yes :flop:

Probably one of her most experimental tracks on BTW

What if this is the sound of ACT II :udidnt:

Getting all of my coins out tbh

I hoped "act one" would sound like HML just in album form. oh well

i can but i dont like this song.

maybe this "fanbase" has so much tension because people like you seem to think that all opinions that are unpopular or contrary to yours are invalid. :ohwell:

So you see undeniable flawlessness yet don't enjoy it :excuseme:

What kind of logic :emma:

It would have been a lot better than Judas :ohwell:

It was so fantastic yet people preferred hair for it's cornier lyrics

What kind of basic American ideals

Ngl I still prefer HML to all of ARTPOP

Though it sounds like it was a good influence for Aura

Heavy Metal Lover is the least flamboyant song on BTW.

It's dark, pulsing, s-xy, electronic, and euphoric. And flawless. Best song on the album along with Government Hooker.

The same country that thinks "Roar" is God's gift to music.
