Who gave up and stopped looking for the next single?

And to think I have actually spent money buying ARTPOP and $1,000 for four tickets to see her live in october, as a way of supporting her artistic vision and career and support her to continue doing what she was doing. How stupid of me. Definitely not spending any more money on her in the future, seeing she obvously doesnt care about us.... if at least she was actually delivering something I wouldnt care about the non-communication. But this is just ungrateful. She has time for the oscars and get potographed but not to tweet to her fans, particularly in the middle of an album cycle, after we all spent so much time and money investing in her. Well done!

Also, don't forget about the 2+ years of waiting

I'm actually starting to lose interest in her music, to the point I'm considering selling the 4 tickets I bought for her concert for nearly $1,000. It's really no fun at all being a Gaga fan these days. She is losing and alienating fans and to be honest with you I can't wait for another huge popstar to come into the business and makes us dream again :( we need a true queen in our lives.

Do it!! Lots of people are looking for tickets!

There are hundreds of other popstars out there. You should go find another "Queen" to fill your life, if that's what you need. ;)

Two years waiting for what? A new album?

You are an active member of the Charts Thread. You know that a two year span between albums is a typical time period for the majority of artists, especially ones that write their own material and have a hand in producing their songs and a vision that goes behind their music. When you add in the fact that Gaga was doing massive international promotion during the BTW era and a huge worldwide tour, when did you expect a new album and era to take place?

Sorry she broke her hip on stage for you and that delayed things for a bit, but sometimes uncontrollable **** happens. I guess fans will find a way to blame her for that too.

Well she obviously doesnt give a **** about her fans. I guess that now she is rich and famous she doesnt need to communicate with us anymore. When she wants to sell her next single she will start communicating with us again. This attitude will bite her in the ass... mark my words.

This.

Hours late, but mess at you telling me never to contact you again, and now here you are quoting me. That's fairly hypocritical. Not that it's any of your business at all, but I'm friends with Lil Alex and have my own familial experiences with cancer, so you'll pardon me for not giving a damn what you have to say about my opinion on the matter.

Your misinterpretation is your business, but I don't fault you for it. You may misinterpret me however you like.

I wasn't joking.

When it comes to Gaga, I'll happily take what I'm given. The only "expectation" I have for her is....well, I don't have an expectation.

One of my favorite artists/groups is Fleetwood Mac. Am I getting new music videos from them? A new album every year? No. My favorite Fleetwood Mac songs are from DECADES ago. But that doesn't stop me from enjoying them.

When you truly love an artist, when you really care about your music, it doesn't matter what else is going on, how they're promoting it, where they are in the charts, how many videos they released, etc. Let the music speak for itself, and let your appreciation for the artist be the only "expectation" you place on anyone's shoulders.

It's a different perspective. In the grand scheme of things, waiting for a single, or a video, or anything is a small problem to have. It still sucks, but I'd rather never get a music video/single than see a loved one terribly ill.

And I know you understand that. Me saying something like that is preaching to the choir- of course you know that a family member with cancer is more important than waiting for a video/single. It's just the way you said that came off as rather abrasive.
