  1. 1. Do you think it's offensive and defiles the grave?

I honestly can't see Andy favoring the album, especially since the content of the album seems to show little relevance to it's intention and title.

her album should have been called popmusic. But then again we haven't experienced the whole ARTPOP era, and to her/and some other artists I guess an era is the actual work and the music, videos, tours, etc are simply parts of a unit.

Ok, but how do we know if Warhol wanted to only be known for his soup can art?…

Go to yesterday's 2:57 pm, something comes and puts ARTPOP there.  :toofunny:

How do you do that ? I can't figure it out .

EDIT : Nevermind

I don't think it "defiles" the grave. There was no hate or disrespect involved. It's just than an album is usually not an appropriate grave gift.

I don't see what the problem is. It's just meant to show his influence on pop culture, even decades after his death. I don't see any disrespect here. I'm sure if Warhol was still alive, he would be a huge Gaga fan.

Except he's dead and there's no way to know. Gaga has long talked about Bowie and how influential he's been but you don't see one picture of them together or any sort of meeting, do you?

This. People leave to the grave things that they relate to the dead and regardless if Warhol would like ARTPOP, the album is inspired by him so its a part of his legacy, so it fits there.

I don't understand how this is disrespectful? We ALL know in some form a sliver of ARTPOP was inspired by Andy Warhol. We don't know Gaga's opinion on her cd being present at his grave, nor do we know living relatives opinions on the matter...

Besides the fact there are more pressing matters going on in the world...

well yesterday I found this a bit disrespectful...but the only ones who can tell it are his family...so If they have a problem with it, it's disrespectful, if not...then it isn't I guess

GAGA IS THE NEW WARHOL TBH
