Joel 877
Gaga has said many times that she comes from a traditional italian family ( ) and that she has a lot of respect for her parents but whenever I listen to this part of Mary Jane Holland she doesnt seem really respectful to them "I know that Mom and Dad think I'm a messBut it's alright, because I am rich as piss" What do you think? ryhanna 3,507
Yes it's very disrespectful to piss. No, I don't think that line is meant to be taken so literally. It sounds almost satirical, actually. Talking about people who put material possession over their family…
Freddy Krueger 0
No, it's just a fun song.

Helix 1,433
Well I mean it is satire (right?), So it's not terribly disrespectful to me but I guess I could see if someone found it as disrespectful
Pop 4,541
It's disrespectful to the listener because it's so badly written. Literally the most cringe worthy lyric she ever wrote and so out of place on the song. It really ruins MJH for me. Sister 9,907
I don't take it that serious. I just think it's rebellion of her to her parents and they'd probably just roll their eyes....argh Stef!!!! The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
SinAgain 33
No, I don't think that line is meant to be taken so literally. It sounds almost satirical, actually. yourfaves 317
I think the song is supposed to be the fun, rebellious, almost high ( ) and mighty side of weed. Whereas Dope is the opposite.
