(their 'brother group') has tweeted within the past week and released a Lunar New Year greeting. That means they're still around and so is their label. If March 31 comes and there's no news, we can safely assume they've disbanded. I'm just worried 4TEN will meet the same fate. Their careers are kinda paralleling: good first single nobody notices, second single that's nice but kinda unexciting, performing a lot but failing to gain traction or chart at all, supported by a smaller label who's only interested in their more successful boy group... I feel like it comes down to the label and their willingness to continue backing a nugu after their sophomore slump. Cuz that really is the only difference - WINGS has Sony. I think a lot of people found it way too repetitive (molla molla molla), then of course there are the EXO fans who thought it was shading their fave (though tbh I'm not sure how many people actually thought that). But they did seem to be doing well for a nugu group. So idk what happened. Maybe their label decided to consolidate and only focus on the boy group, or maybe one of the members left (I remember an interview where Sangmi said she only stuck around cuz she really likes Mei).
