Guest Posted February 5, 2015 Share Posted February 5, 2015 Speaking of C-Pop, I gotta drop this year. Alan is a Chinese singer who sometimes (as in this song) sings in Japanese. I'm not familiar with the anime this was used in, but the song is just epic. I wanna start listening to her music but idk where to start Well the album I like the most is "FEEL," but it's very Western production and like 90% English lyrics. Like, Zedd produced one of the songs haha. So while it's really good music idk that it's representative of her work. I'm a big fan of Namie's now but don't know much about her older music since I just started stanning like a year or two ago. Her "Checkmate!" album is really cool cuz it's all collaborations. "Wonder Woman," "Black Out (with Lil Wayne )" and "Make It Happen (with After School)" are favorites. Her album "Play" from 2007 seems to be well-liked but I don't know it. And actually the production is very similar to "FEEL" so maybe that's just her sound. Lastly, her "Brighter Day" single is her newest release. It has three songs on it and all three are quite good.
