Momoiro Clover Z and American hard rock legends KISS will release a collaboration single on January 28th, 2015. This is the first time for KISS to collaborate with a Japanese artist. Apparently J=J and all the other groups in their label (which is a bunch of young girl groups like them) are all part of an acting club called Gekijo ("Drama Woman") and they do musicals with all-girl casts. So they sang the soundtrack for this particular musical. The plot of the show: Hello Kitty is a being from the Land of Toys, sent to Earth to bring love and happiness to her owner. One day, after being abandoned and found by a high school boy, Yuuya, she falls in love and decides to become human to be with him. However, if she can't get a kiss from Yuuya within three days, Hello Kitty's existence will vanish forever. Little Mermaid says hello but omfg the set design and lighting are actually really well-done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eidHmifl5o The soundtrack is... a soundtrack. They're kinda like the Perez Hilton/Buzzfeed of the Asian world, that is, no good unless you want to feed on some gossip and/or see "What member of LABOUM is the PERFECT MATCH for you?" are there better sites you can recommend? Cuz following allkpop on facebook is kind of a pain in the ass. They're pushing their "buzz" section like crazy, but it's never anything important or interesting.
