Pop 4,541
There is segregation in every country. Some fans are too poor to afford her tour tickets in America and Europe. Yeah, that's sad but what can you do? Going to her show is not a human right. It's a paid privilege. The Taylor Brigade: KNOCKOUT
Miel 15,009
"I'm just a pop star in disguise, my true passion is activism and my true passion is spreading love." - Gaga She performed in Arizona and Russia so I can't imagine she would cancel her show in Israel, but I would love for her to speak out against the things you mentioned. It just needs to be brought to her attention. Get creative, and get her attention. I'm not too familiar with the Israel/Palestinian situation, but if what the OP is saying is true, then this would be nice. 3 points in and ready for more

Yeah, that's sad but what can you do? Going to her show is not a human right. It's a paid privilege. You are missing the point, this isn't just regular segregation about rich and poor, this is straight up apartheid. Not only can the Palestinians not afford to go to the show because of economic sanctions placed on them by israel, even if they could afford they wouldn't be allowed as they are kept separate from the rest of the country. They can go see her elsewhere. I purchased a ticket for a show outside my country because she isn't performing here. I'll have to travel 12 hours there and back but you don't see me complaining. They just aren't allowed to go because of their ethnicity or the fact they aren't isreali/Jewish. Maybe if you were under a blockade and were made to go on separate roads than everyone else like a subhuman you would complain.
DeleteMyAccount 11,881
Well if that's the case, then Gaga should boycott any area with discrimination. Pretty much half the states in the US.

YCHofficial 5,293
ARE YOU SERIOUS? You're so antisemic and you make the people here to think that Israel is a third world country, and it's officially NOT! Don't listen to him, he is an idiot and I can say that because he make people think bad things at us! Gaga preformed in Israel in 2009 and the show was great! Just great! You are not a monster cause a monster needs to promote kindness and love to others. The situation here is not as you described here, we know that if we'll accept the palatines they do in the streets bad things and terror, the hate us. You are stupid Can you please DELETE this thread? plz delete your life
Lets Party 0
Don't put politics and entertainment in the same box. LG is doing it for her fans, she cannot save the world but she can make it better. Think about every Israeli fan individually, what they feel. Leave the politics because it isn't even in their mind when thinking about the show. Let entertainment have the spotlight. Politics shouldn't interfere. if this was any other pop star i wouldnt care, this is Gaga and she herself has always put politics into her entertainment, infact i'd say she is a social activist first and foremost which is why this issue is so important. It's easy to think about the Israeli fans because they can attend the concert, the Palestinians cant, among many other things they can't do that Israelis can. Ofcourse it is not going to be on their minds, they are free to do as they please. Politics has always been a big part of Gaga whether you want to accept it or not
Chic 20,830
Why the **** can't she just tour where the Palestinians can see her too Why should she get rid of dates

They are not alllowed the cross their villiages without being subject to a checkpoint, they sure as hell don't allow concerts to take place within Palestine. They couldn't afford it regardless because of the economic sanctions placed on them.
