Lady Gaga is directing the new Music Video with 2 other Filmmakers

I thought gaga specifically said she learned her lesson after MTN and was going to leave the directing to the professionals. Oh well now this will become her least viewed music video next to MTN 

She said that she now understands that less is sometimes more - but as for directing she didn't say anything. She did a fine job with Marry The Night, the intro was just very long for some casual fans.

This is going to be big whether you like it or not. From what we have heard so far, we can honestly infer that this video will be related to the ARTPOP trilogy; Venus, ARTPOP and G.U.Y. The castle, the choreo and all the roman mythology props (giant seashells, flowers and swans) relate back to these three specific songs. I really hope this happens. Gaga has always had very specific visions for her art so I am very excited that she is directly, and having two professional assistants will only make it more cleaner and better. I feel like Marry The Night was her most personalized and cinematic video she has ever created, and if she makes this upcoming video anything like MTN, it's going to be a fantastic piece of video art.

You don't need to direct just look at Lana del Rey. Her videos are written by her, but she lets professionals handle her vision and makes amazing videos.

A. I can't see this project taking until October due to her upcoming US and international tour (and all of the prep for that as well), didn't they mention a water conservation project that this will be part of too? Maybe that's the date for starting the campaign?

 

B. I don't see her having one large video like MTN, back when DWUW was a possibility a fan asked if that video would be as long as MTN and she seemed really apparent to make it clear that she knew the criticism and cost of making a long-form music video in terms of appeal.

 

C. I don't see her releasing it all at once, maybe she'll do a medley but that could hurt any single sales and a definitive single being determined (which ARTPOP can't afford right now). And with the tour this would allow her to have a MV already shot to shove out instead of having to go in overdrive mode and rush one during off days of the tour itself.
