I know it never stated that there would be an opportunity for autographs but to meet someone, there is usually an expectation that you can actually talk to them and 'meet' them and often they will sign something for you in person, etc. I've met Tegan and Sara at a meet and greet - we each spent about 5 minutes with them and they signed something for us and then we took two or three photos. Even when I met Britney Spears, you could ask her for a hug, and she presented the signed tour book to me in my hand, and allowed you to talk to her for a few minutes one-to-one. No one else was in the room bar the photographer, one security guard and her manager, Larry - two more security guards were outside but they were incredibly pleasant and no one felt rushed at all. Britney's UK meet and greets were half the price of Gaga's and included dinner, a full backstage tour with her assistant where we saw the costumers, met the dancers, met the musical director, even Joe Jonas.

I have a meet and greet for Glasgow and was really looking forward to actually telling Gaga how much she has influenced my life decisions because I see her as an inspiration. I don't have any tattoos, but I would have loved for my first one to be her name and a love heart, written by her own hand, on my wrist. Whilst an hour in her company is great, don't get me wrong, that is not strictly how a 'meet-and-greet' works - if you don't get to greet, introduce yourself, and talk to her, that's just basically a group meeting with a photo at the end. I am sure I won't be disappointed, but to save £835 for to actually meet her in person, as opposed to spending £100 on a ticket, and get less actual time to talk to her than someone who met her at an airport or hotel, etc. is really upsetting.

I feel you but try to ask her in the group chat then since there are obviously no limits there as opposed to every limit in the pic. Maybe don't ask a question because of the time this will take or sth. Just an idea.

What you described about the Britney meet and greet sounds more like what my dream meet and greet would be with her especially the no one in the room thing..that's fantastic

Omg you're the one that was sitting next to me during the chat weren't you?! I'm terrible with names, especially after last night because everything was such a blur!

Her security are very strict and straight forward and as I was the last in the queue for the picture, one of the security guards came and said 'you can't say anything, just a picture and that's it, you leave

OMG thats so bad and frightening thing to hear minutes before u walk in

It did scare me a little, so I just quietly said something to her instead and she said something back, it was such a great moment :D

I think, once upon a time, it was fine to ask for autographs. It was different, people got one on one time after a group chat. Turns out people started taking the piss, getting her to sign so much, so the rules got tight and it ruined it for us. Well, not ruined but ruined that opportunity.

Steve which Glasgow do you have? Sunday or next month?

It's a shame that rather than be aggressive with everyone, etc. they didn't just tighten the rules - one thing per person only. The tour books aren't even personalised with her writing your name from the looks of things!

I have ARTPOP Zone for this Sunday! I could only get Glasgow so decided to make it into a Scottish adventure as I have never been!

It's so rude to come up to the last person in line and say sth like this..Security takes it too far when they are even being horrible to people and try to ruin their moment when they didn't do anything just so they don't have to work 30 seconds longer.

Good that you said sth to her and didn't let them scare you. That's what I would have done too.

I have a question about the gift table, Some of my friends who had American APZ gave boxes and books filled with many things and since we have more tightened security I was wondering if there's now a limit on how much you can give her? Do they watch to see how much you leave? My gift comes in two parts so I'm a lil panicked.

I think you just have to keep in mind that its Gaga's security thats strict because its their job to make sure shes safe and well rested every day. At my meet and greet we were told the photo was VERY quick, but when she started talking to me (???) she put her arm up to security when they tried to walk over. Don't let them scare you, Gaga is so lovely and tries her best. I think shes fully aware we've all paid the same amount but have gotten different treatment to the people who got at least 5 minutes with her personally in the US and feels bad about that. But we never really know how much authority she really has over that (obviously she has SOME but y'know we never really know)

Can't believe I got my picture with Miss Lady Gaga. She's so wonderful and so beautiful. I love her so much.

There wasn't really a limit to what you could give her as security check it first anyway and they said it will go straight on to the tour bus after. I just brought a gift bag with my letter and a small gift, which also had my friend's letter in there who was also there. I think someone brought a china set for her, so really there is no limit I don't think,
