As a standalone, it has sold 9 million worldwide. And as a deluxe with TFM, it has an accumulative sales totalling around 15 million. Its sales per country such as in the US, UK, and all the other major markets in the world clearly point out that it's her most commercially successful release yet. It never had the longevity which the Fame had during 2009/2010, and to an extent even 2011. The Fame (along with TFM) even sold 1 million worldwide in 2011 alone, the year when BTW released. By 2012, BTW has already failed to enter the top 40 best-selling albums worldwide, showing the steep decline of interest over it. The Fame being her first album didnt debut with as many sales and as she became known it sold gradually When BTW came out she was known and already had most of her fan base...
