Um, gaga did say from the start that the album was going to be varied. She never mention that the album was going to be all EDM. As far as I remember, Gaga only mention complextro (Aura), Techno (Aura also has techno influences), Trap (J&D, and MANiCURE), Spoken word (GUY and Sexxx Dreams have spoken word sections), and ballads (Dope and Gypsy). Gaga never mentioned dubstep. The only one she didn't really provide was J-pop (Although Applause has a minor J-pop sound). So I think she delivered most of what she promised.

An EDM masterpiece with amazing and innovative productions by Zedd, Madeon and DJWS. Techno, complextro, dubstep, dancepop. It was supposed to be very experimental and they 'did not care about song lenghts' (as said by Zedd).

Gaga needs to work with MADEON a lot more if you ask me. Most of the time I don't care what producers she works with, because most of the time the music is amazing. But Madeon's two and a half productions (Gypsy, Mary Jane Holland and he helped with Venus) really stand out on ARTPOP. I want more of this sound :music:

It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead.

I think I'd be most happy seeing Fernando Garibay, RedOne, DJ White Shadow, Zedd, and Madeon on her next album. Oh and I'd love some more self-produced tracks by her.

me too

I'm not here for elements. I want whole songs. She called ARTPOP the 'techno rave sister of TFM', while it's still dancepop with european influences.

What producers do you want that she has already worked with?: Madeon and maybe Zedd... But mostly, I just want her to continue having a hand in the production, and possibly producing more songs by herself
What producers you do not want that she has already worked with?: I don't particularly dislike any of them so I don't care
What new producers do you want?: I don't know :laughga:
What new producers that she hasn't worked with would you never want for a Gaga album?: Dr. Luke or Max Martin...

Well, by now you should know that Gaga usually never makes straightfoward songs. Most of her songs are have mixtures from different genres and they are usually never just one clear genre.

KEEP:

Zedd. BUT he's got to start shaking things up. I don't want Gaga to use any old instrumentals of him (or anything he's making for someone else). Take him to his limits.

Madeon. Mary Jane Holland was good, but messy. I think he can do better. Also more than 2 songs!

RedOne. One song and he can't use the Bad Romance progression or the Hair/HU/TEOG progression. They made magic but I think he got too comfy during BTW.

Rick Rubin: One song. His work on Dope was excellent.

Gaga: I want to see her get better. I want something made entirely by her. No one else involved (except like sound engineers and stuff, but musically it's her baby alone).

Rob Fusari: :legend:

FORGET:

DJWS. I know they're super buddies, but his work is... how do I put this... not unique. Does that make sense? It's not that he's bad. His productions just don't really sound like anything. They don't sound DJWS, they don't sound Gaga, they have no sonic identity. He's versatile (we were convinced Swine was by Zedd for a short while), but I think at the expense of doing one thing really good. Also, I think we've had enough of him on ARTPOP.

Fernando Garibay: He's not a bad producer (DITD represent) but he had BTW.

Space Cowboy: Honestly I didn't even know he was a producer until recently; I always thought he was just a musical friend. :derpga:

Rob Fusari: Okay, serious opinion. I like his faux-disco sound, but it's too Fame-ey. Unless she wants to do a throwback track or something like that... I'm all for that.

Those other one off producers: Not really impressed by any of them. No more will.i.am or David Guetta. Matt Lunge needs to stay away from Gaga. I can never forgive him for turning Y&I into an overproduced mess. The first time I heard the studio version and that weird guitar came in...

ACQUIRE:

Audrey Napoleon: I don't know many producers, per se, but I liked what she did on #MySunrise. Maybe she can get Gaga to use 12/8 time signatures. :laughga:

Susanne Sundfor: idk how much producing she does, I think she's a co-producer on her own albums. Her work on the Silicone Veil at least is haunting and amazing.

DO NOT TOUCH WITH A TEN-FOOT DISCO STICK:

Dr. Luke. His work is cute and fun, but it's also, dare I say, generic. He doesn't seem interested in stretching artistic boundaries as much as exploiting a formula that works (see: Ke$ha), so I doubt she'll bring out the best in him like she did RedOne.

Max Martin: Pretty much the same as Dr. Luke.

Stargate: WUT DOES THE FOX SAY you're IRreplaceaBLE. I can't seem them working with Gaga.

I'd like RedOne back on Act II, and also keep DJWS and Zedd.

I don't really like Fernando and Madeon.
