Not to be THAT person but isn’t this only because it’s a brand new song so it’s getting more streams than her older hits? I don’t see it lasting in her top 10 for more than a month at this rate. Even tho it should be getting 10X more streams because ITS SUCH A GOOD SONG

I am! OP’s excited about the song being her #2 on Spotify and I think it’s only upward from here. I’m referring to people melting down about the song’s underperformance and saying I don’t think it’s really been out long enough to say whether or not it’s underperformed (and I think it has a lot of room for growth). Tyler, The Idiot occupied most of the charts, so it's normal, same thing has happened to DWAS first or second week I remember, ah yes, with sabrina's album.

DWAS fell down a bit on the first weekend I think, it had some up and downs and the radio didn't really catch it until the 3-4th week.

you would have thought by now that those people would have finally learned in today's music world, the debut is hardly the indication of a song's future

Tbh most people thought it would have felt like a Katy Perry song which hasn't happened (still pushing +2M daily streams)

She just needs to push it a bit at the right moment
