Regardless, she'll have to announce her dates in July when they announce performers and then she'll probably start hyping. She won't be 100% gone for more than another month and a half at the most. Grammy performance, TEOG video, Judas @ SNL... she gave us so much. She is so incredible. if you cant wait for ARTPOP, just turn on YouTube and enjoy 100s of BTW performances you didn't get to fully appreciate. I just thinks she creates what she is inspired to create at the time. She wanted to make an epic dance/rock anthem album, and I think she succeeded. So I don't think she made any mistakes while creating it. How can she have when it was intended. this If Born This Way flopped so hard after selling millions of copies worldwide and after having nominated for Album of the Year then I just don't know what's the real meaning of success for some of you. PS: Move on. ARTPOP is coming. and this for cryin out loud lol. by the way i don't think gaga's work is as calculated as we tend to argue about on here. especially when it comes to the creation of it. we cant just say "oh she wanted these classic sounds on it because she thought it would do well" she doesnt create based on what she thinks people will like more. she goes with her inner gut. those words taken from her perez interview. Imo opinion with everyone being as thirsty as they are she will be fine sales wise if she releases it on a Tuesday a couple of weeks before the VMA's. Then when the VMA's hapeen that will be another week of strong sales and she's not putting all her eggs in the first week basket. And then the music video on a separate week would also help for that week of sales. It uses "sounds of the past" because those are the sounds that she heard as a child, that influenced her to become the person she is today. Does this really look like the cover of an album that's goal is big sales? The album was one big statement. Everyone gets so lost on this site in the world of crunching numbers, sales, charts, business strategy. "General Public", etc. etc. It's so f*cking boring and I'm tired of hearing about it. How miserable do you people have to be to fill your minds with that useless crap? :clap: :clap: :clap: knowing that she is a pop artist with a big label behind her doesn't mean she needs to create on that basis. she doesnt even need to think about what will sell. thats her LABEL and Management's job. remember that guys it is their job to determine how to promote her vision to the world, but NOT to dictate it. that may be the case with any other basic chart hungry puppet, but not with gaga. I believe they worked together on it shortly after Born This Way was released. yeah he worked on ARTPOP in the earlier chunk of the process. from after born this way up until the btwball started i believe.
