And there are some rumours that ARTPOP will release on 26 August. It would make so much sense. An amazing performance and then the album release. The fact that no one even noticed that the Joe-thread was gone means that it must be a very recent thing. Copies need to have been shipped worldwide by then and nobody could know anything about it. And then she'd come up and be like: "Hey! My new record is in stores tomorrow!" I think she would let a few weeks pass, just to get everyone hyped up and make sure that the whole world knows when to buy it. Not everyone watches that horrible show Plus, I don't think anyone's expecting the album to come in August since the lead single is probably coming in August, not the album.
