Would anyone else enjoy a Ziggy Stardust/Aladdin Sane type character/plot/theme for ARTPOP?

I've been reading a bit about David Bowie and it's really intresting. It fits with the space theme, Gaga was stating at the BTWB that she was going to "invade Earth with ARTPOP" and Siggy Stardust invaded Earth to save it from itself. I don't want her to blantantly copy Bowie, but I found the basic similarities to be interesting. Lots of potential... lots of.... possibilities.

And since Gaga said the themes for ARTPOP are going to be more general instead of blantantly stated in the songs themselves, it could all work without throwing off the GP.

I could see something like Shiny Toy Guns' cover of Major Tom being on ARTPOP; maybe a non-single track if it isn't mid or high tempo. (Not necessarily the lyrics, but in the general theme it gives off, spacey and influenced by David Bowie/Major Tom) Although I don't really want production quite like this on the album (although it's nice, it might come off as a little dated), I enjoy the vibe it gives off.

So there's a new dot account. Saying July 16

That's a good date, and three years after I passed her recording in her bus.

My name isn't Timmers

How do we know its real tho?

Although I think that's a good date. First single in late April/early May, second single with the album release

Do you have a link btw? I can't find it...

YES! I LOVE SHINY TOY GUNS! I feel like they are what would happen if GaGa was divided into a four piece band. I would adore something similar to their cover of Major Tom, but I also think that ARTPOP would be awesome if it has a track much like Speaking Japanese.

(Heres the track for anyone reading who may not have heard it)

It's such a loud in your face track. It has a violent and s-xy sound to it. When it was stated that ARTPOP would be a sensory overload, that is what Im looking for. It needs to be a controlled chaos with a futuristic sound.

Oh God Shiny Toy Guns :nooo: :legend:

Yeah a track sounding like 'Major Tom' on ARTPOP would be pretty cool.

The alter - ego thing seems a good idea for ARTPOP! The it would make sense that she said ARTPOP was female!

I hope not...so generic sounding, the breakdowns sound like everything on the radio right now...not here for that.

Zedd's gunna have to bring material that's 20X hotter than that IMO :classy:

No it doesn't, the breakdown is much better than anything on the radio. In fact, I don't hear much songs like that on the radio at all. What radio station are you listening to?

If that is generic, than so was TFM :laughga:

Sounds like a muffled mess

Careful. Don't ever mock Capsule, Perfume, MEG, Kyarypamyupamyu, Yasutaka Nakata himself or any other works he has produced.

Capsule - JUMPER is a masterpiece of Electro/J-Pop.

The Little Monster fan base would be blessed if Nakata-san ever produced for Gaga.

Seriously, if Gaga or Paul says "get ready for ARTPOP" one more time, I think I'll go properly crazy. WE ARE READY
