Beyond the complaining, I think we (as monsters in general) tend to over think Gaga's career and plan it for her. People have been arguing on here for months over what kind of songs Gaga needs to have on her album and how it needs to be released, not for their personal preference, but for her career. Gaga asked us a few months ago to let go and just trust her. I wish we could all just do that. Holding Gaga to a high standard isn't snooty, it's having respect for her work to this point, and for her abilities as an artist. To me SKANK made it sound like Gaga was above her older works such as Just Dance and LoveGame. Did those songs have deep meanings? No. Do you think Gaga regrets making them? Of course not! Gaga said herself that in Born This Way she was like a mother figure, and now she wanted to be a care free kid. She wants it to be less serious than Born This Way. MTE! I know that I'm going to love it, love everything that Gaga does, and I am loving the anticipation and little hints. I love the build up! I just can't understand people complaining about the album that they have not even heard! Btw, what song do you think might be the sequel to the Telephone MV? Then she can be like, "Ok. From now on, if you complain, this is what you get." Don't get me wrong, we're all entitled to our opinions, but it's getting tiresome after so many months of people arguing over this stuff with no new music to enjoy. Deep meanings doesn't mean better though. Like I said before, Just Dance and Judas for example are both intelligently written. And tbh The Fame did have deeper meanings, it just flew over people's heads (at least some people).
