Radio will eat it up, they're dying for it. She's Lady Gaga, so it'll soar into the charts on buys alone, and radio will pick up on that. She didn't need to promote Born This Way at all, really. It was 6 weeks at number one with one performance. The rest was just album promo. That's all she needs this time around, too. If she can perform the single in a big way... I've got it! Announce on Xmas that there's a special surprise coming on New year. Release an unreleased song at Xmas (or leak it) New year, announce that on the first of her shows in 2013, she will play her new single live and it will be streamed online for the world's monsters to see. Lady Gaga playing her new single live is killing one bird, because nobody can download it yet, and it's killing another bird because it's snubbing award shows. It's a shrewd move because, like with princess die, the world's showbiz media will lap it up. If it's a stomper of a song, everyone will be salivating for it. Gaijin 440 Posted December 8, 2012 Share Posted December 8, 2012 Actually, I'm starting to think BURQA (the song, if it's real) might indeed be listed as **RQ*, because the Burqa does oppress women and is the source of much conflict in the world - in the west it's despised as it goes against _everything_ we believe in, in the east, some women like to wear it, others might not I wouldn't know etc etc etc. So if it's indeed a song about conflict, the title could be censored like that as it truly does censor women. Just an idea. Also how when in that video Gaga says, "Are you singing [what sounds like] Burqa?"...what if she said "Are you singing **RQ*?" which would indeed _SOUND_ like Burqa, but it's "not"? I'd rather her video tape a performance and then put it on the app for fans, and then upload it to her VEVO or something. In between is too messy, and a Feb. release isn't cool cause that'd be repeating BTW's schedule.
