I read on Billboard that Cher's new album will be released in late march of 2013. So we might finally get The Greatest and also, I think that this could be one of ARTPOP's "contemporaries" on the charts if Gaga does release it in March as some are speculating.

I've got a feeling that ARTPOP will cause EVEN MORE meltdowns than BTW did because it's going to be so un-Gaga. She said we should forget everything that we know about her and she's breaking the rules she created for herself.

What if her "rules" are:

Absolutely no samples

Blonde hair, shocking clothing

Serious, hard-hitting lyrics

Any old hook

No hip-hop

She's gonna break 'em. I'M EXCITED.

Any old hook? Pokerface/highway unicorn, Bad Romance/Judas.

well the y&i thing checks out, but the other two aren't similar enough to be counted as "rip offs". It's not that its too reaching, but the fact that you're demanding other artists be credited just because a newer one has some sort of similarity to a menial part of their song. In that case, should gaga credit madonna for the whole express yourself debacle, regardless of whether or not gaga even did it on purpose?

What's funny about the whole BTW/Express Yourself comparison fiasco, is that Black Jesus is WAY more similar to Express Yourself. Imagine the publics reaction had Black Jesus Amen Fashion been a single.
