The lyrics on songs like Marry the Night, Scheisse, and HML alone **** on anything on TFM "Blond high-heeled feminist enlisting femmes for this" "I'm gonna marry the night, leave nothing on these streets to explode" :legend: :legend:

JoeMo 3,860
i miss Gaga interviews, performances, appearances....Rihanna has released 7 albums in 7 years....we need ARTPOP soon guys. the difference being though, rihanna doesn't really have much of a creative process. she gets songs written for her, and she records them. GaGa as you well know is different and takes time to write and produce the music she wants to make. www.youtube.com/jmremixes

Doogi 1,506
Why does everyone complain about "generic" lyrics? Like who cares!? You're still gonna stan for Gaga no matter what and all of her music is amazing so who cares about generic lyrics. Just enjoy the damn music… Telephone was a number 1 hit and is a great song. Stop making it as if Gaga is above anyone and everyone else. She makes popular music. Just enjoy it. I'm Chloe. Except the C and the L are silent. lodylody 1,746
I don't know, my favourite verse comes from Monster: "I wanna just dance but he took me home instead, Uh oh, there was a monster in my bed, we French kissed on a subway train He tore my clothes right off, He ate my heart and then he ate my brain." I hope to have more of this sort of thing on ARTPOP.

False but I feel like it would have done better than BR as the lead
Oscar 1,031
I can't believe that people are still pondering if Cake is going to be on ARTPOP or not when it's pretty ****in obvious that the song was done for fun, and to keep the fanbase happy with a little treat and not to be taken seriously. Not to mention they posted it for FREE online, MONTHS before the album is coming out. It would make no sense to put it on the album. People on this website are so clueless, I swear. If it ends up being on the album and I'm wrong, then feel free to crucify me for this post, but I really do not believe there is an ice cube's chance in hell that this song will make it onto ARTPOP. Thank god someone's clear headed here. And not to mention some fans still think PARTYNASEOUS is still going to be on ARTPOP when Gaga clearly said another record for another time. The delusion. drbumblenut 48
Why? Feed My Love is better than Cake. Anyway, they're both joke tracks and won't be on the album. As to your second statement, hopefully not. I don't want more basic lyrics. "I'm up in the club and I'm sippin' that bub" "That boy is a monster m-m-m-monster" Sometimes I think Gaga's imagination is so not grounded in reality that she has to force herself to write real-world, literally relatable subjects. Metaphor and fantasy ("Highway Unicorn," "Bloody Mary," "The Queen," etc.) seem to cast her in a genuine light, whereas club lyrics ("Telephone," "Cake," even "So Happy I Could Die") paint her as more of a pop satirist. I dunno, food for thought Edited November 24, 2012 by drbumblenut
aaronyoji 2,054
Thank god someone's clear headed here. And not to mention some fans still think PARTYNASEOUS is still going to be on ARTPOP when Gaga clearly said another record for another time. The delusion. um it most likely is. remember when she mentioned the two volumes idea, and was releasing a bunch of details on chat? well she described two songs that were inspired by the situation in jakarta. she said one was a complextro masterpiece, and the other was "a hiphop/techno/jpop hybrid" those are the exact same sub-genres that she used to describe partynauseous on twitter months before when she announced it. anyone can connect the dots. and vincent said on a radio interview that there was still going to be an official kendrick lamar collab on ARTPOP, even after partynaseous got scrapped for his album. she's probably putting it on hers instead, but in secrecy for a surprise.
