CHANTEL 2
I love you, Gaga, for how positive and full of love you are, but I can't support Justin Bieber at this time (and yes, I do think supporting his fans is supporting him by association). I would rather help Beliebers by showing them that the things Justin has been doing are harmful to himself and to others. Encouraging their support of Justin Bieber is just encouraging their delusions that he's okay, when he's very clearly not. He needs help, and twitter trends aren't going to help him. The justice system needs to work its hand now. *Edited for clarification and expansion Exactly No, I don't support him/his fans. This and omh JJang your signature i just noticed that i hape the "space" pic that you used for the background, im using it for my Laptop's wallpaper

MonsterMum 2,532
Ok I am willing to admit I reacted very emotional last night and gave it a bit of more thought now. I understand what she's trying to say and I am willing to support it because those kids can't really help it can they. Yes he fvcked up again but Lorde knows how it is to meltdown as a fanbase. If she is willing to make a change and support rather then kick someone when he's already on their knees I'm for it. I know some think "if she'd be in this spot nobody would do this for us" BUT the biggest changes always required just 1 person. That person, as history told us, would always get portrayed as a fool and would get mocked for it and yet we learn about them in history books and they end up as legends in their own way. She wanna be the one that makes that change, let's not redicule her at least, as her fans, there's plenty of others that can do the job quite perfectly. Bye 3,947
I did get that it's about his fans but I still won't support them when they have been defending him and being their usual delusional selves. And where the hell does the born this way message enter into this mess? No no no no, just no.

Deniss 14
If you "support" somebody who's addicted to d--gs, are you endorsing their d--g habit, or helping them get out of it? Literally nowhere in that post did she say anything about supporting or excusing Justin's actions. She explicitly stated that she wanted support for his fans. You have to remember that Justin is meant to be a role model to his fans, and there are probably a whole lot of his young fans who are confused and disappointed in him in light of recent events. That's who she wants to support. The fans, not Justin. I don't know what it is lately with fans and their tendency to jump to the worst possible conclusions. The people saying "i'm not gonna support justin" or "i can't believe she's supporting drink driving" need to take a step back and think instead of making assumptions in an attempt to look cool on the internet. Totally agree on this. I'm more shocked about all this thread comments than what Gaga wrote...
Sara 1,128
Totally agree on this. I'm more shocked about all this thread comments than what Gaga wrote... This. I can't believe so many people are against this. Here's the summary of all the arguments against it I've seen: 1. "You can't change anything. The problem is too big. Tweeting positive messages never helps." Well, the same thing was said about slavery, racism, civil rights, dictatorships, and GAY RIGHTS. Just because something is hard, and might take generations to change, is no reason to not even try. 2. "I hate Bieber and I hate his fans for supporting him". It's never wrong to love. It's always wrong to hate. Many of you who hate Bieber fans probably hated them before Bieber ever did anything bad. You hated them because they loved Bieber so much and gave him so much attention and devotion. You were jealous. It seems to be human nature to be hateful when something we don't like becomes popular. But all great social progress comes from people learning to overcome their hatred of things they don't understand. 3. "Bieber did awful things! He deserves this!". Gaga isn't saying he doesn't. She's only being sympathetic to his fans who are probably very upset by Biebers bad behavior, and they don't need a bunch of hate dropped on them on top of that. Did I miss any other arguments for why what Gaga said was bad?
Mary Pain 0
Well ... idk ? poor fans. What he did wasn't right. But again, everyone is jumping to their OWN and imaginative conclusions
Mariann 301
I love you Gaga but I can't support Bieber's recent behaviour. He needs to get help before he might cause some harm to innocent bystanders. However, I understand that his fans are not to blame for this. I have never said anything bad about people supporting him and I won't start now.
