Stefani328 321
I saw this same thread about two weeks ago. It had the same exact title and everything. I get the point, but I'm so sick of seeing the same repetitive threads.
teo 609
Enough of this, please. She already said she doesn't give a **** about criticism. Especially not what is passed as criticism these days. Good reviews are lost in the bandwagon flop talk. This is not criticism. It's bull... well you know the rest, ggd's gonna put "*" on it anyway. And the list of artist/musicians/writers who were passionately criticized in their times, but are now studied is schools and are remembered decades after their dead is very very long. Van Gogh, Monet, Emily Dickinson, Mozart are just a few of the people who were not critically acclaimed. No one remembers their critics these days. So what was your point exactly? mic 1,415
She's not wrong. She's an artist. She's a revolutionary. You just don't criticise a revolutionary. What would've happened if the classical legend Beethoven payed attention to people who booed him and his 'unlistenable music' and said he went too far? Dont be funny the issue is : half of the album sounds incredibly basic: Donatella, MANiCURE, Gypsy, G.U.Y., Fashion!, Do What U Want, even Sexxx Dreams that I love. She hyped revolution and provided typical songs with lack of fancy imaginery/video coverage. She owns millions of dollars she could do whatever. And I'm trying to objective writing this post. To the topic: I have similar feelings, she feels lil lazy now, but hey she has been working like No other for last 5 years. I'm ok with lazy era but she didn't have to hype it so much eh
