DJWS isn't exclusively Gaga's producer, he produces for others and makes his own music. Even if Gaga was in the studio, it doesn't mean anything. She could be finishing up songs she has been working on for years, she could be working on remixes, she could be featured on someone else's song...there's 100s of possibilities other than a new album. And if she is releasing a new album, or working on one, do you think she cares if any of you want her to or not? She can do whatever she wants. If right now she's feeling creative, she can't stop that. She can't stop her visions, her lyrics. She is probably more concerned about her tour than the "ARTPOP era" (God I hate that word) anyways? Like, if she came up with an outfit idea but was wearing something else, would yall be making threads saying "GAGA SHOULD ONLY THINK OF WHAT SHE HAS ON!" no you obviously wouldn't. she can focus on whatever she wants. The Fame 4,192 Posted January 15, 2014 Share Posted January 15, 2014 Don't know if someone has already said this, but sometimes, if an artist has something in their system, they just need to drop everything and get their thoughts down on paper, or get the song recorded, etc. If she has an idea for a song that's bubbling up, then she is just driven to get it out. It's kind of unexplainable if you don't create art yourself. Besides, she was working on ARTPOP during the BTW era, so doing double duty is nothing new for her. Guest Posted January 15, 2014 Share Posted January 15, 2014 I'm here for her creating new music during the era, I mean a huge part of the era was supposed to be releasing new music through the app. She may be working on Act II as well, which needs to be recorded around this time, or at least started on, because it should follow the Act I era relatively quickly. The lead single from Act II should probably be set for release about 2-3 months after the final ARTPOP single is released. I'm glad she's already working on things so they can be perfected by the time the album is out, which may or may not be by the end of the year. But the ARTPOP era is definitely not over. She said she wanted a lot of singles, even if she meant between both ARTPOP & Act II, there will be more than 2 singles from this era, I'm expecting 4 before we move to Act II. Adakam 2 Posted January 15, 2014 Share Posted January 15, 2014 Ok. I deleted my old thread to try to organize my thoughts better. Gaga worked over 2 years on ARTPOP. She literally put her entire life into this album. And the result was incredible. The music is fantastic, and the majority of fans agree it is her best album to date. However, now that she puts it out, she doesn't give it the justice it deserves. The music deserves to have its own time with its own singles, music videos, and performances. If she puts making a 5th album at a higher priority than ARTPOP, it's like betraying the music she worked so hard on. The fact that she made making new music a priority when she has a music video (FOR THE SECOND SINGLE) that is months late is ridiculous. It would be like picking bad singles on purpose because Gaga doesn't care about the charts. This music deserves to slay and be heard by the masses. Gaga should be focussing on enjoying and living out the era she worked years to create. These are just my thoughts and opinions. Please do not bash me or anything. Andrew When has recording he next album ever meant that she moved on from the current one? she did his exact same thing with TFM and BTW and ARTPOP the things she goes trough in an era, are the inspiration for the next one, its always been the same Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
