Troy Carter talks about split from Gaga

I think both, when word came out that the two split reports said that it was because of 'creative differences.'

Everyone in the industry knows that "creative differences" is a nice way of covering up anything crazy that went down.

I actually respect him a lot after reading this. And while he and Gaga had creative differences, I think she was mostly in the wrong about this. She has a job, an image to uphold and pop music to produce. It's why they signed her at Interscope.

Finding a new manager as equally innovative is going to be very hard for her.

Yeah but it somewhat seems true, I think Gaga wanted a much more different concept on ARTPOP.

Has he seen the App? I don't think so, cause it's a major BS. Nobody got dat many spice for a gif-maker.

But everything else seems reasonable and i like him no matter what. He helped her to be who she is today and i'm excited to see what road she is going to go from now on...

Gaga's still working with Bobby Campbell & Lane Bentley who have worked with her as management since the beginning of her career. Both Bobby & Lane were employed by Troy/Atom Factory, but have since split and stayed with Gaga. Bobby handles marketing/promotion and Lane is her day to day manager.

Her manager is Vincent Hebert so that's all I care. I wish Troy good luck and I thank him for everything he did for Gaga.

It's interesting that the article brands him as the lead social media guy when most of her social media-related achievements, including LM.com and coming up with an app, were evidently her own ideas.

So what did he do, the Farmville promo? I'm teasing but really I feel that this story is a bit one-sided, if not maliciously so.

How is it malicious? Its about him not gaga

By "if not maliciously so," I meant that it wasn't malicious. My point was that it wasn't bashing Gaga but wasn't really giving her enough credit for her ideas.

He's being a professional. I honestly thought he would shade Gaga a bit, but was pleasantly surprised to not read a single negative thing.

I am feeling the same. I am also happy that this is being kept professional.
