In (relative) short:

Album tracklist

1. Applause

2. G.U.Y

3. Venus

4. Sexxx Dreams

5. Do What U Want

6. ARTPOP

7. MANiCURE

8. Mary Jane Holland

9. Dope (re-recorded to be more like the live version)

10. Gypsy

Why? Because the album feels a bit bloated, and a concise, concentrated quality offering would have made a stronger impression with people. The more divisive tracks would be delivered to fans via app so they can appreciate them whilst casuals can avoid.

Singles

#1 Do What U Want (Aug)

#2 Applause (Nov)

#3 Sexxx Dreams (Feb)

#4 Gypsy (May)

Why? Because DWUW has a strong and relevant message post-BTW to be the era opener, it's a different sound and it's mass appealing. It would also be a strong ice breaker which would allow Applause to reach it's full potential as the Gaga club classic of the album. SD would be another venture into different sound, and the previous two hits would sway radios into supporting the risque lyrics. Gypsy would show the campier side of the album and end the campaign on a celebratory vibe come summer.

Other

1. Give Jewels N Drugs to someone else, feature in the hook.

2. Use Fashion! in the H&M promo video, release song via app.

3. Use Donatella in Versace promo video, release song via app.

4. Use Aura in Machete Kills promo video, release song via app.

5. Leave Swine as a live fan favourite on Swinefest and tour.

Key events

- DWUW performed at VMAs (Aug)

- ARTPOP release (Nov)

- Launch parties in NYC, London and Japan (Nov)

- Applause at AMAs/XF UK/Voice US (Nov/Dec)

- Sexxx Dreams performance at Grammys/Brits (Feb)

- Gypsy used in tour ad (Spring)

- Glastonbury headline (Jul)

Tour

The ARTPOP tour would begin early summer in NA, extensively travel Asia, then Oceania, then Europe, then Africa and SA. The singles for ARTPOP ACT II would be included as released, but the setlist wouldn't be fully re-vamped to include both albums until one WW circuit was done.

------------

ACT II

I'd have an 8 track EP/re-release of ARTPOP drop with similar campaign strategy in 2014. Lead single in August, album in November.

Why? Because even with a much better handled campaign, the material of ACT I probably wouldn't do the full job of winning people over, proving herself and solidifying her place. She'd need a 1-2 punch comeback with ACT I taking the full force of the post-BTW effect, and ACT II being the unexpected push that truly shows she isn't playing and shouldn't be messed with.

Plus, it makes sense to be in an era when she's benefiting from all the space exposure in 2015.

------------

POST-ARTPOP (2015)

Get her to take a year or two off from music. Let life inspire her during this rest. Knowing her, she'd never be able to do NOTHING creative, so now would be the time to venture into a film role (Gypsy with Streisand?).

Stephen

Cool idea

From this point on (so not changing the past):

First, shut down LM.com and ban her from twitter/Instagram. Only Gagavisions are used to connect with fans.

Also hire a new choreographer that understands her and her limitations but still can make her performances look impressive, like Laurieann Gibson did.

Also new stylists/creative directors because the current ones are doing an awful job, she looks terrible all the time

And forget about the app, pretend it never happened, sweep it under the rug

Make Gaga shoot a cheap quick but visually appealing video for DWUW with R Kelly, Christina (assuming she accepts), make a trailer poster with all three artists posing (like the Telephone poster) to build up some excitement, and release it soon after, and have youtube advertise it like crazy. If Christina doesn't want to be in a video with R Kelly, then just release two seperate videos for both versions.

Dope as the next single. Make her re-record a clean version Dope with PLEASANT vocals that aren't instantly offputting (think Rihanna's "Stay" or even "Brown Eyes") because the current vocals are just unacceptable :eww: , and release it as a single, with a video and Grammy performance

Fashion! as the next single. re-record it so that the vocals are more 'pop' and not have the repulsive 'broadway' vocals the album version has. Also change the lyric "slay!" to something else, less cringe inducing (using stan lingo in a song, seriously?)

Gypsy as the next single. Same as Fashion!, make her re-record Gypsy so that the vocals are more 'pop' and not have the repulsive 'broadway' vocals the album version has. Also let someone else produce a new instrumental and replace Madeon's terrible instrumental with something else.

G.U.Y. as the next single, let Zedd remix the instrumental to fit in more with radio, the production (the synth) in the verses are too dated. Cut out the intro for radio edit obviously

Then get her on any feature she can get, that sounds like a undeniable hit. It could be a collab with a DJ or a rapper or with another singer. It would be included on the re-release.

Lead single of ARTPOP Act 2 is next.

Then ARTPOP Act 2 (both as a re-release of the original ARTPOP and as a seperate EP) are released. A new sound, away with DJWS, Madeon, and Zedd, Act 2's songs would be produced by actual pop producers/musicians again, just no more DJs, and the songs will all have good non-cringe worthy lyrics and good non off-putting vocals. It would have 8 new songs, including the previously mentioned feature, and the lead single. The re-release would also have the new versions of G.U.Y., Dope, Fashion!, Gypsy, instead of the originals, and the Christina Aguilera remix of DWUW as a bonus track. The seperate EP would be digital only. The iTunes releases would also include all the videos of the era so far.

Second single of Act 2.

Third single of Act 2.

:awkney:

Interesting.

Rollercoaster

1: Ask Gaga to write up a short few paragraphs in plain English explaining the album (like the audio she did.). This would then be in the album booklet to explain to slow thinkers.

2: Ditch Jewels & Drugs in favour of a radio friendly cheap easy hit to lead the campaign.

3: All single campaigns (Remixes, videos, live performances, promo, collabs) are to be readied, completed and unleashed in good time. Videos to be recorded 1 month minimum prior to release date.

4: In order to merge art with pop, the 2 contributing bodies must be made excruciatingly clear.

5: Single order to be reviewed based on how it will translate to album sales and general perception with lost fans. Getting there before Katy Perry's btw moment is paramount (success after TD was predictable).

6: Single 1, Late July: Do What U Want ft. R.Kelly (Released solo, acoustic, with R.Kelly/Rick Ross & Xtina)

Promo is all solo, some acoustic, or featuring the slow burning of newspapers.

VMA performance: Featuring R.Kelly, Rick Ross & Xtina in a huge performance that ends with her as a child at the piano and gaga singing the final lines.

Video Directed by Terry Richardson & released 2 days after the track hits iTunes.

7: SWINEFEST! Marketed as an exclusive for fans to hear tracks from the album, the setlist is:

Applause

MANiCURE

Sexxx Dreams

ARTPOP

Princess DIE (Explaining it's not on the album but was her state of mind when being picked apart by journalists)

Gypsy

Swine

Do What U Want

8: Snippets of album tracks to be released each week leading up to album release.

9: Single 2, end of October. Live YouTube performance of the never before heard track uploaded simultaneously with the track going on sale & hitting radio.

G.U.Y.

Music video by Marcus Nispel 3 days after.

Album Release party. ArtRave.

Tracklisting

1. Aura - Zedd, Infected Mushroom

2. Venus - Lady Gaga

3. G.U.Y - Zedd

4. Gypsy - Madeon

5. Do What U Want - DJWS

6. Sexxx Dreams - Madeon, DJWS

7. MANiCURE - DJWS

8. ARTPOP - DJWS

9. Swine - Zedd, Darkchild

10. Fashion! - Madeon

11. Donatella - Zedd

12. Dope - Rick Rubin

13. Mary Jane Holland - Madeon

10: Single 3: Late January. Sexxx Dreams

Rihanna version also available

Video directed by Francis Lawrence.

11: Single 4: June: Gypsy. Simple.

I am bored and don't wish to go on.

Here's what I would've done:

- Release Aura as the 1st single (even tho it leaked) and premiered it at the VMA's + the video would've been the Telephone + Paparazzi continuation.

- Mid/Late October: release of Venus as the 2nd single with a killer video + performance at the AMA's and EMA's.

- Late January/mid February: release G.U.Y as 3rd single + debute it at the Grammys.

- Late May: release of Mary Jane Holland or Applause as 4th single for a summer hit + to kick off the tour.

- September: Sexxx Dreams as the 5th and closing single + performance at the VMA's.

It would be SO perfect

This would also be great

SISTERV

hmmmmmm.....this is interesting.

First of all, I would agree.....I would have pulled a Beyonce.

Literally in July she should have dropped that ****ing album out of nowhere.

First single stays Applause.

Second single Venus.

Third single Donatella.

Fourth and final single Gypsy.

All of that done from July through March.

Short break.

In July ACT 2.

three singles.

August, tour begins, wraps up by mid 2015.

Two year break.

Summer 2017 is next album.
