Yes but I was using percentages which is what we should be looking at. It doesn't matter if a song sells 400,000 in 1 week when the #1 song is selling 750,000. Exaggerated numbers, but I think you get my point :p

true :ohwell:

If by BB200 you mean Top Album Sales, then #25-#30.

Yay, pretty good :applause:

1M WW this coming week or the week after?

is it just me or do the weeks on top of the charts seem more inflated than a couple of years ago? for example:

blank space - 7 weeks

UF - 6 and counting

AATB - 8 weeks

Fancy - 7 weeks

compared to

Poker Face - 1 week

Just Dance - 3 weeks

last Friday night - 2 weeks

roar - 2 weeks

Nah, it's been like this for the last few years. It just depends on the song. Remember when "Boom Boom Pow" was number 1 for twelve weeks and then "I Got A Feeling" was number 1 for fourteen weeks back in 2009? lol

The ffs haters are now embracing the masterpiece. :whitney:

If you guys are just up for the bandwagon tho. :coffee:

I'm all for talking about charts, but I still think the song is dreadful wTvgw.jpg

I really don't care if it becomes a huge hit as long as she leaves some room for Ellie :nick:

yeah but that was rare, it hadn't happened (14 weeks) since 2005 at that time, and 2013 we just had blurred lines for 12 weeks. and every song has bee staying for more than six weeks recently, minus shake it off

True. I'd argue it's been building up to this for the past few years, however. I think this trend is partially due to streaming and exposure via social media, as number 1 songs almost gain a monopoly over the territory, due to these factors. I hope that makes sense lol. I'd love to hear what industry professionals think.

The Hot 100 was dominated by radio back then. That's why songs would last that long until they changed the formula. Digital sales then took over and we saw songs top the charts for a short period of time.

Get ready. Love Me Like You Do is going to surge even more after the movie premiere on Friday.

What if they don't even play the song during the movie or the beginning of the credits
