I checked the new releases on the Mediabase website. Songs are always added there at least 2 weeks in advance, so March 3rd is the earliest date for its release.

Maybe waiting with it is not a bad thing tbh

Competition is so strong right now

Thinking out Loud and of course Bruno's song will reign for a while, and then 45S and Style are coming, I don't know about Living For Love but I guess it will do something...and then there is of course "Love Me Like You Do" which will probably do really well around Valentine's day.

So maybe by March some of these songs will start going down and DFH will have more chance to shine

45S won't be a huge hit. Never.

Actually this is the perfect time to release it. The songs you mentioned are about to peak in the next 1-1.5 months (whether on radio or sales), so in 1.5 months those songs will be falling leaving place to new upcoming hits. Considering there's no rising songs right now, there will be no competition a month from now, which could be the perfect opportunity for a song starting to take off right now. Releasing DFH in March will make it face the competition of the new wave of hits in April-May.

Do we have any ideas of what those songs might be?

IDK if a new (probably more universally loved) Rihanna single will come that soon

It can be anyone, not necessarily a pop girl/a famous artist.

I know Budapest is sent to radio in 2 weeks so that's one.

Geronimo could be a big hit too I think. It went 5x Platinum in Australia in 2014.

A unusal top-class collaboration between Barbadian superstar Rihanna, noble-rapper Kanye West and ex-Beatles and music legend Paul McCartney is this week's highest debut. Their 'FourFiveSeconds' rockets at no.6 with 222.000 points. For Rihanna it's the 21st smash on the Global

Top 10, for Paul McCartney it's the 22nd hit there as a solo artist and his first Top 10 success since 'Hope Of Deliverance' 22 years ago in March 1993!

But it is still on it's way to the top 10. Taylor Swift isn't performing either.

Epic is so dumb. They probably should've released it last Tuesday. LAM is kinda peaking on radio now, it seems.
