[TRIGGER WARNING] Perez Hilton In Unknown Condition After Livestreaming S-Word

Perez Hilton allegedly harming himself in his Miami home sparked a flurry of calls to local police, who decided to disengage with Hilton while they monitor the situation.

The Miami-Dade County Sheriff's Office told Newsweek that the office received "multiple calls" about an individual livestreaming acts of self harm. Deputies were dispatched to Hilton's house and spoke with family members who were on scene. Deputies confirmed Hilton was alone inside and decided to "tactically disengage" while they continue to monitor the situation. 

"In many incidents involving a person experiencing a mental health crisis or actively harming themselves, deputies prioritize de-escalation by creating time, distance, and opportunities for communication. Unless there is an immediate threat to others, slowing the situation and utilizing crisis intervention techniques can reduce the likelihood of a suicide-by-cop encounter and minimize the risk of injury to the individual, deputies, and the public," the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office told Newsweek.

The video, which Newsweek will not share, showed Hilton cutting himself and covered in what appeared to be blood. The video has been taken down and TikTok has suspended Hilton's account.

There is incredibly graphic video and imagery of this incident on social media. I do not recommend searching for any of it. In the footage, Hilton harms himself.

During the stream, he spoke of an intention to provoke police into shooting him. His condition is unknown.

I don’t care for him as a person due to the things he’s said and done, but even still, my heart does go out to him and especially his children. 

To be in such a mindset that this seems like a worthwhile option is somewhere I’ve been and I don’t want anyone to go there. 

I’ve unfortunately seen the photos and videos on socials (by accident) and however bad you think it is, it’s worse. This is a level of self harm that absolutely could kill him, if it hasn’t already. He was completely covered in blood all over his body and the knife was massive, 

I am wishing him all the hope and healing in the world. If he pulls through, I hope he gets the help that he needs. 

I hope his family, especially his kids, do as well.

Jesus Christ, that video is insanely disturbing. I grew up in the LiveLeak era and I've never seen anything that horrific.

I don't even know what to hope for, it seems like the police get in, he intends to escalate things. I just hope this whole situation can be resolved somehow, however that might be.

Maybe people should just not go on Twitter/X anymore. I thought people were smarter than this. BlueSky was created as a better alternative and it's not controlled by billionaires trying to rig elections and spread the furthest right propaganda. 

 

PS: maybe people should stop deliberately seeking out traumatic videos that will undoubtedly cause a traumatic reaction.
