Taylor has sold close to 27 million albums in the US and 61 million downloads for her singles. She beats out all of the other current pop girls, including Adele! She has sold 10 million albums in the US...that's less than half of what Taylor has sold. Rihanna has sold 64 million singles in the US versus 61 million for Taylor. If you convert those singles into album sales, that puts Rihanna at 13 million and Taylor at 27 million albums sold in the US. It has one of the top 5 spin increases in the current top 20 on CHR and an increase of 2.000+ in AI. Pop radio is not ignoring this song or paying it dust. Can't believe radio is supporting those barely platinum hits to the fullest but they let 4pplause peak at #4. 1.4M copies sold is not barely Platinum. The need for a mid-tempo song in the top 10? More power and push from her label? A string of top 5 hits before the song? Various scenarios and factors, but either way, LAM is currently in the top 5 spin increases and is getting good overall AI increases.
