I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Bad Blood won't make top 10 on Hot 100.

That dark red won't let up  Tumbling down the charts at light speed even with a banner on the front page of iTunes and almost top 20 on pop radio

It's doing well on Pop, though. Its digital sales weren't proportional to its airplay for the first 3/4 days because of fan sales but now that all the fans that actually cared bought it, it's reliant on airplay increasing, the music video and BBMA performance to rise. I see it out of the top 30 by Monday, but that's the video premiere date so by then I do expect a rise into the top 20 and hopefully it'll stabilize there as airplay increases & then BBMAs on the 17th to keep it in the top 20 and by then it'd definitely be top 20 on Pop and a song usually gets better updates once it's top 20 there.

If it can maintain top 20, then that would be more of a success than Work B*tch. That could only maintain top 30 for a short period of time.

Well beating Work Bitch isn't really tough to do. That song was hindered due to a poor radio edit (Work Work), the music video coming 2 weeks instead of a week after the single and nothing to support it after the video (like a performance). And the song itself wasn't that accessible, imo.

Don't judge me, but I think Hilary Duff released the best lead of the year.

Do we know the sales number for Bad Blood right now? I'm sure it's up there and has a good start going into its single phase.

Notable Sales Milestones:

Ariana's OLT finally passes gold. Chains joins Trap Queen as the newest singles to hit platinum status in pure digital sales. Also, the Hot 100 queen, Mariah Carey debuted with bigger numbers than the latest single of Rihanna, the closest contemporary artist who could topple her record on the Hot 100 all-time most #1s tally. Didn't see that coming.
