I just went back and showed this documentary to a friend of mine who is a metalhead and I've slowly been getting him hip to how amazing Gaga is. I'm sharing a link as well but..

This documentary is phenomenal and so much credit to who made it! I have only gone back to watch it in full a few times but each time I appreciate it and her more. This was the first time watching this since MAYHEM era started, and I can't believe my respect and love for Gaga could go any further.

Definitely worth checking out if you havent already!

And to add:

What makes me (as a little monster) the happiest is now seeing where she is now. When looking back she was on the brink of full throttle but life happened with her breaking her hip and the drama going on during that time leading into ARTPOP. It then forced her to take the extra time needed to be able to better respond to other situations (the way she handled COVID and Chromatica with such grace).

What I get most excited about now is seeing how loved she has remained and how much more music she is going to create. I know it is expected but this rewatch reminded me that she really is going to keep delivering for years/decades to come and after this rewatch/seeing what she discusses in interviews about where she is now, I know she is going to just continue to reach greater heights and become even more legendary than she already has become. She will be in textbooks I bet

Absolutely love this doc and would love to see it extended into the MAYHEM era!!

I would love to see an extension to cover what has happened since then- because it stops at the A Star is Born trailer!

It is almost like she has lived an entire other career since then and we need a part 2 ... and then more parts as time goes on!

edit: I also would purchase several volumes of Gaga memoirs if she decides to write them later like Cher is doing. The part one of Cher's memoir is amazing and I cannot wait for more... while it looks like a cash grab and it does make them money, I love memoirs and I wish other artists did it or will eventually do it! (Alanis, P!nk, Kelly Clarkson to name a few I wanna read about from their own pov)

I love this documentary soooo much. And the fact that it's fanmade is also very impressive! I remember watching it back in summer 2019 and I was in so much awe - not only because of the editing and thought behind putting all of the footage together, but also because of everything that Gaga has done and achieved during those first 10 years of her career. I recommend everyone watching it too! :firega:

I think the author is also here on this forum but I don't remember his name

Amazing documentary. Remember when it came out, Gaga was literally everywhere and was at the peak of her career once again. Everyone was finally starting to appreciate her voice, acting, artistic visions and previous work including. Documentary is so special. But she came so far since then. She'll never be stopped. :kara:

GAGA IS GROOVY

Thank you for making this thread!!!! I watched the doc today, and it was incredible! It does a fantastic job of succinctly presenting Gaga's trajectory to stardom and beyond - the trailer to ASIB at the end is a great cliffhanger, especially considering how that film launched Gaga into the stratosphere once again. I really loved how the doc showed how each era sort of blended into the next and shaped the one after it - I really got a sense of Gaga's thought process. Thanks for the recommendation!
