Ray of Light 8,134
25. Adele is far more global & doesn't cater a specific audience.
Hellspont 1,468
She is the most perplexing person in pop at the moment, I don't get it not that her music is good enough to warrant a purchase but the amount of promo and success of Bang Bang should atleast be 100k first week. Noel Kahn 2
Higher first week sales? 1989. Overall? Probably 25.
Rollercoaster 2
She needs someone to tell her to stop putting out albums of filler trash and to try to write something worth listening to.

Tove Lo 2,481
Even though I know much less songs from Adele, I like Adele more. I choose her. hop on that **** like a maniac
Radio Ga Ga 5,663
I think first week would be taylor because of all this hype (and look at how many pre-orders it already has), 25 would probably do better long-run if it's good, but because adele had been gone for so long, the hype is just not as big as taylor's, so first week sales should be good, but not as high as taylor
monketsharona 62,584
Just an off-topic question about Partners : did Barbra plan to release another album with female singers duet on it ? I mean few months ago it was said Gaga and Beyoncé may be on it.

SIRE 75
Why is this even a question? 1989 will smash, but 25 will absolutely annihilate. Who knows? Everybody wants to say Adele and I do too. I believe she can slay again after owning the world for two years. Her success was truly unparallelled in the state of the music industry. But there are many artists with HUGE eras that failed to live up to expectations. Norah Jone's Come Away With Me, for example, sold 30 mil+ worldwide, and her next album was successful too, with about 10 mil, and then her next album 5mil, and then her next album barely platinum. Sometimes success like that is a once in a lifetime thing Whereas T has been consistent for five eras. You just never know

CHANTEL 2
did anyone saying Red was 80% pop ever listen to Red? Half of the record is pop the other half is country Tay has loads of hype surrounding her Adele is major everywhere, I think Adele wont debut with Higher sales in the US but will sell more on the long term. Also Adele is so fcking overrated, her music is just bad
Valextra 58
Higher first sales week for Taylor in the USA during the first week. Higher first sales worldwide Adele during the first week (but she could outsell also Taylor in USA, we'll see). At the end overall higher sales Adele, both USA and Worldwide. Redstreak 6,653
25 for both. She's coming off 21 so the hype will definitely be there and she has a wider demographic but it certainly won't match the sales. Whatever Taylor does after 1989 will beat whatever Adele does after 25 though Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~
