craig 680
I hope Mariah tops it before her career ends. She has about as much chance of catching The Beatles as Elvis and MJ do.

Mills 446
If KP and RihDuctive can have that many collabs count, everyone's numbers should include destinys child. All of KP's 9 #1s are hers as the lead. Rihanna has 10 #1 hits as the lead artist. 3 collabs (as the featured / secondary artist) aren't that many. But yeah, Beyonce's number one hits should include the 4 #1s by Destiny's Child since she's the lead artist of that group anyway. If they do, Beyonce's credited #1 hits will rise to 9. Plus, they've done the same thing with Paul McCartney and his post-Beatles band, Wings. The 6 #1 singles credited to the Wings are also credited by Billboard towards Paul McCartney, the solo artist. But then again, the Wings were also referred as Paul McCartney and the Wings back then, hence the credit to McCartney as well. Smart move by Paul there! If the Beatles' #1 hits are to be credited towards McCartney too, he'd become the top artist with the most #1 hits on the HOT 100 with 29 chart-toppers. What do Bieber, 1D do here on the pic? The have had 0 #1's True. This thread isn't solely about the HOT 100, but all the Billboard charts as well (+ their counterparts worldwide). The main banner just features arguably the most successful commercial acts of this decade, excluding Gaga. One Direction have easily become the top group of the early 2010s, while Bieber has become this generation's top male pop solo act (album sales, media coverage, streaming, social media presence, and tour revenue). Both of them have also topped the Billboard 200 chart multiple times (Bieber 5x, 1D 3x), making them among the acts with most #1 albums scored in this decade.
