It was so bad I couldn't even finish the video. She could have made this video much shorter since it was all ass. As a straight female I didn't find it appealing at all. It was all just too much at once. It's digusting, my honest opinion.

A fraction better than the Stupid Hoe video, but only just. I just don't understand what she expects to gain out of these terrible, cheap, tawdry videos. She's one of those artists who its the "in thing" to dislike on YouTube (Super Bass, Starships, Beez In The Trap, and of course, Stupid Hoe, one of the most disliked YouTube videos of all time). Really, it's just her fans who like her videos and everyone else thinks they're cringey. How does she expect to appeal to a wide audience (those little girls on Ellen and many other young fans will now be disallowed by their parents to buy her music), get a #1 single or win a Grammy doing stuff like this? Oh, and she needs to stop highlighting her ass. It's so obviously fake and looks ridiculous. Drawing attention to an ass for how amazing it is only makes sense if it's real.

The clue's in the "over" part. It suggests it's too much. If you don't think it's too much, why are you calling it "over s-xual?" The problem is that females are under so much pressure to be s-xual and lust objects for men and they watch videos like this and think it's normal and acceptable to get butt implants, to practically show your entire ass bar a thong and lapdance. Young girls especially can learn about and model their newfound s-xuality on stuff like this, meaning they have a view of s-xuality that's tied to p0rnographic images, which are very damaging. And young boys and men watch this and think it's normal and acceptable for women to act like this. And this content isn't age-restricted, either. Years ago, videos of this nature would only be shown after 9pm and there was no widespread internet access and the sites that did show the video censored it. It's all very well to say that this video is not meant for kids, but the fact is that regardless of who it's for, kids can watch it on most devices with no one to look over their shoulder to tell them it's inappropriate. Above all, women who act in this way on a public scale will not be treated with respect. You can be as s-xual as you like in a private setting, but tone it down in public. You can't get respect from others if you don't respect yourself.

you must be really fun at parties

I have to point out that this video is absolutely nothing like what was wrong with the DWUW video.

Furthermore, I don't know why a woman can't be s-xual and be taken seriously.

I also take issue with your insinuation that a display of female s-xuality must be either for the enjoyment of men or is a "sacrifice of artistic integrity". Why can't women own their s-xuality? Men don't own female s-xuality. Nor does Nicki have less integrity because she chose to wear a thong.

:tea: AGREED with everything. Expressing one's s-xuality is not AND should never be a hindrance to upholding one's artistic integrity. To say that one discredits the other is nothing but a fallacy highlighting the worst of s-xism.

Once again, we are telling women that they can be s-xual, but not too s-xual. Women in bikinis or thongs are in countless rap videos from men. As are misogynistic lyrics that objectify women. People recognize that and often aren't too happy about it, but no one really gives a ****. No one singles out the male rapper and talks about the message he's sending to children.

But when a female takes charge and displays her s-xuality, oh ****. She's suddenly a terrible role model and not worthy of respect. She's an awful influence on kids and she's the reason that girls are becoming s-xually aware at a younger age and she's the reason that men have less respect for women. The second the woman owns her own s-xuality, she becomes subhuman.

Furthermore, what you're saying is that when women become s-xual, they suddenly are no longer individual humans, but rather a representation of all womanhood. A woman can't shake her ass without boys being corrupted and women losing more respect. When a single, individual woman shakes her ass, all women are seen as sluttier and less respectable. Setting aside the respect aspect (which I will address later), you don't see that as more problematic than anything you argue? Apparently not. In fact, you perpetuate this idea that all women should be generalized based on the actions of one. You have nothing in common with Nicki and you're still arguing that her behavior defines you as a woman. That's a problem. That's problem number 1.

But I mean seriously, where do you get off saying that she doesn't respect herself? Who are you to say that? Yes, I understand. A woman can't wear a thong AND respect herself. I laugh at this because this is the same type of comment that's been made about women for centuries. It used to be if a woman's ankles showed, she didn't respect herself.

I hope you realize that your kind of thinking is the same line of thinking that justifies the bullying and abuse of female p0rn stars while male p0rn stars remain unscathed. The more s-xual a woman is, the less worth she has as a human. The more s-xual a man is, the more of a man he is.

Your argument angers and saddens me. Why is female s-xuality inversely related to respectability when male s-xuality isn't? Sexism. Your argument is s-xist and I've come to expect so much more from you.
