My personal opinion is that Little monsters have just become so needy and selfish. She started her music because she loved it and wanted to change the world for the better. As her career went on she truly started to focus on spreading nothing but love.

Since ARTPOP was announced there has been a change in the community. So many fans have demanded so many things from her. Then when the injury happened instead of focusing on her health all some fans could do was focus on when we would get music. Then the ARTPOP "era" started with applause and the negativity started because Applause didn't beat Roar. She has made it pretty clear that it's about the music not the charts or sales. Every time she talks about music all most people can talk is. Will this do good as a single? Will this go number 1? Will she beat Katy in the charts? Will this break some meaningless record? Most people don't focus on the music. What does it matter if it goes #1? Gaga doesn't care about numbers and she has made it clear so why should we? She could care less if a song is #99 on itunes or some chart she's doing what she loves with creating music and that's what matters.

The bullying of Gaga has especially gotten bad now with the DWUW video. It's ok that she hasn't released it. The world isn't going to end. She is getting hate from her own FANS for what not releasing a video in time. That's absurd!! She will release when she pleases she doesn't need the own people that have helped her now start to destroy her.

I'm sure most of us have been bullied or had similar issues where we question our own self worth and that's why we turned to Gaga because she taught us to love ourselves no matter what and to live our life's to the fullest. Now that she has helped us all so much we thank her by bullying her and sending her hate. Thinking she doesn't see all the hate towards her is just crazy.

She doesn't like to see hate especially from her fans. She has made it clear she is about sharing love. Spreading kindness especially online. She doesn't need to see her fans say things that are hurtful to eachtother and other artist. If you don't like something she does there's a way to express your opinion without being unkind. Instead of saying "wow that sucked it looked so messy". Or saying thinks like "well GaGa is better because she has grammys and Katy doesn't so she's obviously better" what do awards matter? Some monsters have become such bullies spreading hate everywhere they can and bullying GaGa who has done so much for us. We should think we do anything. Tweeting/posting anything negative helps absolutely nothing. We should be happy she's healthy now and she's back to doing what she loves. And never forget she is still human just because she's famous doesn't mean she doesn't have a heart.

 

A mega pop star should NEVER come to these forums. People sound off, they project, critique - the creator must never be present.

 

In my opinion, there is an app now, and Ms G should deliver high quality B-side content to her fans directly - that is the way a pop star communicates: with valuable creative content.

 

I can understand her disillusionment, but what I think is that all of YOU (I am a casual fan, so I don't count myself) warts and all -

this fanbase are who MADE her the star she is now. You are the REASON she exists in her current incarnation and the reason for her success.

 

I have lurked on and off for a while and although I can see that even those of you who are mostly negative are still real fans.

 

Because for some of you it is almost an obsession, you take her highs and lows to heart and sound off about them in your own ways. This forum is like a teenage girl's diary in many ways - it's often neurotic and certainly not something that should be read by the 'parent', so to speak.

 

But that doesn't invalidate your love and need for her - and this forum's value, the value of the 'stans', the fans, who who buy the music, watch the videos over and over and wait with bated breath for the star's next move.

 

And just like the teenager's diary, it should not be read by the parent or anyone else and judged on its maturity, because that's not what it's all about.

 

I hope Lady G realizes that if she set herself up to be an archetype and a goddess of a sort - a Mother - there has to be a sense of humor about these things, an ability to laugh at her 'kids', appreciate them for who they are, gently admonish them when necessary, but also not let their behavior affect her adult paradigm.

 

Finally, when you're a pop star, you set yourself up to be a--lyzed, critiqued, adored, hated and compared. That is just the name of the game. My hope is that in her newfound sobriety she will find the strength and the center she needs to be above all those things and rule as I am positive she can.

Anyway, I hope she gives up on reading the Internet forums and twitter altogether, it really does nothing for creativity. It's like when those show runners for tv shows start listening too much to what the fans want: you get a blah, pandering mess.

We think we want a certain thing, but sometimes it just not the right choice. We won't know what we want until we get it.

Well said. It was and has been an enchanting, symbiotic thing going on between the artist and her audience. It started out beautiful when fans would a--lyze her work and create awesome pieces of art and reflection in her honor and inspiration. It was like art feeding art, but at some point, the static noise drowned out the voices we wanted to hear. It's a darn shame.
