thatfoxyfeeling 12,718
I'm on my phone and spoiler tags won't work. SPOILERS BELOW Brief summary on the first episode: There were so many plot holes in this episode. What happened to the dogs when Brienne defended Theon & Sansa? Where was Bronn? How did the Sands get on the ship when they were in Dorne when the ship sailed? I really dislike the Dorne storyline, I'm rooting for Cersei to get revenge which is ironic since Cersei is a hateful character but that shows how pointless the Sands are. I can't wait to see Sansa take back Winterfell, and it's obvious Melissandre will be involved in Jon's resurrection (sacrifice herself and use the necklace)? Spoiler tags won't work on mobile, so please leave this thread if you haven't seen last night's episode ---- I think they were implying that she's really old (maybe hundreds of years?) and that she has some sort of spell on her necklace which is helping her to look young. The Sands probably took a ship/boat soon after Bronn and the others left Dorne and followed them. They are called snakes for a reason. Speaking of Bronn - he has a fiance and a castle now, if I remember correctly. He's probably back home for now.
Lion Heart 15,041
"LETS GET REVENGE ON MY BROTHER BY EXTERMINATING HIS HOUSE!! YAASS!!" "Does she have white *** hair??? Maybe your Grandma!" "You don't have to be stupid the get fvcked in the ass." "Yes I killed Jon Snow our Lord Commander, but I NEVER DISOBEYED AN ORDER!" After seeing this episode a 2nd time, I'll give it a 6/10. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

The dogs got lost in a plot hole Bronn was probably at his new home. Castle Stokeworth is right next to King's Landing I believe. I didn't like how quickly the Snakes got to Trystane Martell (or anything about them this episode really). They exterminate their own house; they have some teleportation ability; and also Trystane seemed to show NO GRIEF over the fact that his own girlfriend JUST died. And I really hated that fighting scene. "OMG you're such a greedy BITCH!! xD" Like really? My guess is that they followed them immediately after the poison took effect. Looking at the map, the edge of Dorne and King's Landing are not THAT far apart, so I guess it's not entirely impossible for them to have been close behind. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

They've dragged this on past Ep 1 and I doubt Davos + co. will fight for nothing. "I saw him fighting at Winterfell." But I don't think this means he's necessarily Azor Ahai; I think that's a red herring. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
Spooky 466
I'm split on this episode, but let's start on the good points for me: Melisandre's reveal - HELL YES. She's been one of my favorite characters since her introduction and to see how old she is and what she's capable of is really, really awesome. It puts a lot of her decisions in perspective, such as how willing she was to sacrifice Shireen, Gendry, and other innocents in an attempt to save the world because she's been alive long enough to see how insignificant certain individuals are in the War for the Dawn (as tremendously heartbreaking as it is). Unfortunately, this might destroy the theory that she's Bloodraven's daughter, but I can live with that. Brienne and Sansa - I CRIED. Catelyn is my favorite character, no contest, so to see more parallels to Cat in Sansa's arc makes me tear up (like the scene last season where Sansa's standing in the exact same place Cat was in Season One at the base of the Broken Tower). Brienne's reaction to Sansa returning the oath, clearly remembering the last time she swore her sword to a Stark woman, was beautiful. I could have done without Sansa needing to look to Theon for approval, but that's just me nitpicking. (THEQUEENINTHENORTH) Cersei - ALSO CRIED. As easy as it would be for me to hate Cersei with a passion, I just can't. Seeing her running to the dock looking so elated and excited and knowing what she's going to find when she gets there was crushing. The way her face just slowly falls when she sees Jaime looking grim with the golden shroud behind him and she knows what's happened... Beautiful acting from Lena (as usual). I also loved her monologue about contemplating her mother's death. Can't wait to see what she gets up to later this season. (pleasedon'tdieyetpleasedon'tdieyet) Ser Davos and the Night's Watch - I don't really think I need to say very much, he was amazing. The mutton line cracked me up. The Bad: DORNE - ****. THAT. Daenerys Stormborn, Breaker of Chains, Monty of Pythons - I think I rolled my eyes at literally everything the Dothraki were saying. *groan* Saint Tyrion and the Joke About Varys That's Gotten Really Old By Now - ... Arya vs. The Waif(ucked up douchegirl) - WHY ARE YOU SO MEAN?! TL;DR - When it was good, it was great, but when it was bad, it was AWFUL. A lot of setup for next episode, so here's to hoping they don't destroy the other plotlines as bad as they did the Martells. Poker 3,636
I enjoyed the episode. I never cared for the Martells besides Oberyn, so that they destroyed their plot doesn't really bother me. Sansa was my favorite part. I always loved Catelyn and the Starks, so seeing Brienne kneel before her was so emotional. Tyrion is getting annoying. I liked Dany's scene. She seemed strong and independent for the first time since DRACARYS! Arya's scene was pointless. She's blind, we get it. Cercei made me feel sad. To see her happiness being taken away from her as her only daughter returns dead crushed my heart. Melisandre's revelation left me speechless. If I recall correctly, she mentions being really old in the books, tho. Overall, it was a nice episode for what it was. I hope the season gets better, but then again, it can't be worse than season 5. Kindness rules all.
Lion Heart 15,041
Guys this was released from the inside the episode thing: “The Princess Myrcella died by poison on our return journey. I suspect Ellaria Sand, not you, but my sister will demand war. I doubt Ellaria’s head will appease her, but it is a start, along with your neices. Your son cannot stay in King’s Landing. I am sending him back on the same ship.” -That's Jaime to Prince Doran. So it's likely that the Snakes caught up to Trystane like halfway through on his way back, they jumped on his ship and killed him there. So that takes care of a plot hole. That still doesn't explain what happened to those miserable looking hounds though. EDIT: For the record, Jaime could have had Bronn write the letter since Jaime's handwriting is terrible. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
Ambrosia 3,775
If Jon Snow gets resurrected, will that relieve him of his duties in the Night's Watch? Since he took a life oath... and his life ended? Do not do to others what angers you if done to you by others. -Socrates
