lazygaga 60
they don't check your name when u enter the venue
cuzzin 0
Do they really put your name on the tickets? Do you have to give the names of all the people going upon purchase or something?
geopang 4,831
Usually the tickets never have names on them, at least with my experience. All the people do is scan it at the door and youre in
Prismatic 4,789
So they don't get the original ticket purchases ID and stuff? I'm asking my mom to get it. I Only Stan For Risk Takers
paw 62
call the place you bought your tickets from and verify w them. it depends on weather your printing the tickets at home or they r being sent to you but either way once your there at the arena they dont ask for id or nothing
Haus 152
Uhh I don't think the answers above are entirely correct. First of all, it says on her Ticketmaster page that name changes will NOT be allowed for VIP packages. When I went to the Monster Ball in Chicago, I bought LMZ from someone else and they had to meet me at the venue because the staff DID check their ID. Names are printed on all tickets. They won't care if you have a GA or seated ticket, but the staff checked ID's when I had LMZ. I don't know if they did that at every venue but that's just my experience. If you call Ticketmaster and explain that a relative bought them for you, they may be willing to change the name to yours. The problem is that they explicitly state that the original purchaser must be there with the credit card used to buy the package along with their ID, so you may need to bring that family member with you. The best thing is for you to call and ask. Be polite but don't be afraid to push if they say no.
TRYMCNL 143
Both times I had LMZ for the Monster Ball I just took the credit card used to purchase it and my ID. Fortunately my mother bought it and we have the same last name so I just told them that and it was fine. SLO Tix is the company in charge of the VIP packages, I think. ChristianSaad 650
There's a ton of INCORRECT information in this thread. If you buy LMZ whatever name is on the credit card needs to be present at the venue. They have a checklist of all the LMZ names and they WILL check. I had LMZ 7 times before and they crossed my name on the list all 7 times. And this time I heard LMZ is all will call anyway so that's where they will check ID and what not. croboy 1,212
I know they checked the names on the last tour for the Government Hooker tickets (aka LMZ this time). I had them so I know. You had a normal ticket (without a name) but you still had to go to check-in hours before the show to get a whristband and there they checked your ID and the name that purchased so better call and be safe! lavenderblondee 3,695
You have to! I've been having a BIG ordeal with ticketmaster over changing my name on the package. It's been a big hassle. Do it asap. Since I didn't have the same last name as the person who got it for me, I had to verify that I knew the person that bought me the tickets ( my boyfriend), and they wanted a screencap that we were friends on facebook -__- it's really silly. I don't even know if I'm in the clear yet. So e-mail them asap, tell them your situation, and the sooner the better. If you have the same last name as the person, you'll be fine though, I believe. MeryJaneHolland 0
I didnt event think about that.. I had my sister pay for the package on her credit card but it was through my account on ticketmaster. Do I still need to call and try to have it switched over? I'm traveling to Chicago to see the show and can't have her come 5 hours just to sign me in..
Travis 543
It will depend on the Ticketmaster ACCOUNT used, not the credit card.
MeryJaneHolland 0
I just got off the phone with multiple people and it matters who is on the credit card, not the ticket master account. Finally they told me to send an email straight to the VIP ticket line and I said "Hello! My name is Jordan Loeffler and recently my sister and brother in law bought me tickets as a Christmas present to see Lady Gaga in Chicago on July 11th, the tickets they bought were the Little Monster Zone Package. The order was placed under my ticket master account but using their credit card. The order number is #_______ the billing address is __________ under the name ________ with the last four digits of the card that was used are ____. They bought me the tickets as a Christmas gift and because they needed to be ordered very quickly before they sold out bought them without reading the fine print and didn't notice that with the VIP tickets it says the person who bought them has to be there to check in. The card holder (my brother in law) won't have any possible way of being at the show with me in Chicago since we all live near Cleveland, OH and we wanted to see if my name (Jordan Loeffler) could be added to the VIP check in list since like I said there is no way for them to be there. I spoke to someone on the phone on the VIP ticket line and they told me to email you and that you would be able to assist me in this process. She told me to send pictures from Facebook showing our relation and that we know each other. Let me know if anything else is needed for further proof. Attached are pictures of each of our individual Facebook profiles, and a picture showing our relation and that we are friends. Here is also a phone number that I can be reached at __________. Thank you!" and attached three pictures showing our relation like i was told to do on the phone. And I got an automated response email saying I should be getting a response within the next two hours so I'll let you guys know!
zaneusher 0
I bought LMZ for the Toronto show but I didn't use my credit card a relative put it on theirs, would their name be on the ticket Do I have to have them change my name to the ticket for the VIP package I've never order VIP so I'm not sure Is it will call? Do you have to pick up your package at the show? If so you can call and have an alternate name put on there. You will need the credit card and order number to change it. Hope this helps!
