God there is a Britney thread. Post it there xD. I Stan waayyyy hard for Britney but out of respect of this place being à Gaga forum, I don't post stuff. Lol

On another note, I can't wait for the documentary, FTR 2.0 but less controlled hopefully?

And it's promo. Something she seemed to have forgotten.

This is the entertainment forum and as this is news about Britney, not just a discussion, it should be posted here.

The majority of people in this thread don't go into the Britney thread.

Jesus why do people give this poor girl such a hard time. It's funny because she had achieved more by the time she was 15 than they will in their entire lives.

I just found out Katy Perry co-write passenger... That's odd. Haha.

I can totally see Katy singing the bridge... Especially the "this is living!" part.

I never knew that. And that says a lot since I LOVE Passenger so much!

Britney is NEVER going to be finishes, her imperial phase in the music industry was arguably more intense and longer lived than Madonna's. With the exception of MJ, nobody has reached this peak.

I hope not...I still love her and I'll still support her as I always have. I love Perfume and Work Bitch. I'm looking forward to Britney Jean.

It almost been a decade since Britney actually promoted an album well. Since 2004. It's time to really give it up. There's only so much hope we aren't in control of her career. I know I have my troubles as well as her. I feel like she shouldn't have came out with albums especially if she's not even going to perform the first single. I mean c'mon. I will always have my memories and be a fan though. However, the answer to your question is no. It's Britney Bitch!

I wish her management would let her retire from the music industry. She clearly doesn't care about her career anymore, she's lost her spark and she needs to just go away for a while, take care of herself and her kids, and focus on what she really wants to do. Yes, her post-meltdown albums are decent (except for Femme Fatale, which is just plain embarassing), but you can tell her heart is not into it.

I don't think she's over, a lot of people are still rooting for her to be the queen of pop she was 10 years ago, but in order for that to happen, she has to want it, and I don't think she does.

Her past 2 records Circus and Femme Fatale had much bigger beginnings than Britney Jean

Circus and FF's lead singles were at least moderately successful (like HIAM) or a smash like Womanizer.

Work Bitch is just a plain flop. I think, after almost 2 months it's barely crossing Gold status (remember, Gold isn't that impressive in the U.S. Gaga's 5th single Marry the Night went Gold)

Perfume has tumbled out of the Top 100 on iTunes, a sign that the general public is not only rejecting this era, but probably doesn't even know it exists!

Things aren't looking good for her. For now, yes, she's over.

mentioning Marry the Night with Work B*tch :dead: #Justice4MarryTheNight

I despise the term "over" but Britney has definitely lost her popularity but its inevitable for all artists. Cher, Bowie, and Prince are on their 3,000,000th album and they're still iconic and their "low sales" don't have any negative impacts on their decorated careers.
