PaperIz 7,337
It's not an amazing number, but I think it's fine for no promo. And yet her career will still be intact, her Vegas shows will still be incredibly successful, and she'll continue to have support throughout every next album she does. Who else but the queen of pop? :reductive: It's almost sad that she was able to do over 100k with no promo and no hit single whereas GaGa only did 258k with a hit single and tons of hype. Katy only did 286k with a massive single and coming off a massive era. Her star power is of legendary levels Exactly. She's not as successful as she used to be, but her career is still doing fine. Desperado 2,439
It was #4 worldwide... that's not moderate... on the release week tho, then it started to plumet on every chart.
Fish 6,087
People go easier on Britney's numbers since she's not a threatening person, she just makes silly little tunes. Gaga gets dragged because she's highly ambitious and focused, She's held to a higher standard. exactly... Britney Jean is not a good album, even if youre listening to Body ache in your shower guys. Britney just lost it. And that album does not give me the urge to see her in vegas... maybe its even bad for her vegas residency...
Smooth Criminal 2
Gaga gets dragged because she's highly ambitious and focused, She's held to a higher standard. THIS. And Gagz visions are much more powerful and eccentric...so people are critical of her. But that's not bad at all...that shows that she is an "Artist"

Blues 0
You don't understand "flopping". If she did promo and still only sold 100k, that would be flopping. She didn't do promo which = low sales expectations which = different criteria for flopping. If she did 50k, that would be flopping. It's relative. Yes flopping is relative, but 108k is still a flop for her despite no promo. 108k is lower than the predictions made by everyone in the entire industry including her label, it's a flop. Just like how Interscope projected 450k for ARTPOP, 258k is a flop. Capitol projected 400k for prism, 286k is a flop.

Jaqe 37
I wish I sold that much. Considering no real effort's been made to promote this little thing I think it's quite good.
