Quark 7,089 Posted November 26, 2013 Share Posted November 26, 2013 You don't have to explain the lyrics or the songs to me. I listened to the entire album and this was honestly my opinion. I feel like Britney Spears has a weak voice and I can hardly feel the emotion of the lyrics because of how autotuned she is. Also, I don't think ARTPOP is generic, because even though many of the electronics sounds on ARTPOP have been used before, Gaga managed to utilize those sounds in unique ways and also make unique song structures with them. Plus, the fact that Gaga actually has a great voice helps alot. By this is all just my opinion. Lmao could say the same about ARTPOP. Listen to the lyrics, Til It's Gone and It Should Be Easy may be EDM tracks they actually make sense. Same goes for Don't Cry, Passenger, Alien and Perfume and those tracks aren't even electronic. But if you really want to know what I think about ARTPOP, then I think is a great, unique, fun, electronic/pop album that at least to me is not generic. Nd what do u call ARTPOP?
