What?  Ticket resellers and individuals bought the tickets listed on SH and are reselling them.

It will be reported as sold out because it is just that...sold out!

 

JT has thousands of tickets for resale on Stubhub, but many of his upcoming shows are labeled as sold out already. Same with Katy Perry and every other artist out there...including even the big arena shows of the summer, 1D and Beyoncé/Jay Z.

 

I bought my tickets to TFM from Stubhub and that particular show was listed as sold out for weeks, but there were still hundreds of tickets available on SH.

 

This isn't "Gaga fans deluding themselves". This is how the secondary market works...for EVERYONE!

 

 

Oh......my........god.....yes.....it will be reported as sold out. I get that. But its not sold out. These are tickets that are being sold for people to buy them because whoever is selling them is not going. They are selling the tickets. Meaning even though the show is labeled as sold out because those tickets were already purchased, its not actually sold out because those seats if not bought on stubhub will be empty the night of the show. Do you feel me? .....

 

And im not talking about the seats being unsold in this way thats meant to imply shes a flop so you need to stop throwing out other artists to show me that shes doing fine. I get it. All I was initially trying to see was an estimate of how crowded my show would be exactly and somehow its spiraled to noticing how fans are like manipulating things to make it seem like this is going to be a sold out show for real. I mean who cares if it says sold out on AXS when theres 800 seats that still need to be filled.

 

Anyway, im still excited for my show and yes it doesnt matter and yes im going to have a good drunken time and blah blah blah all that good stuff. But I mean honestly guys. Come on.

It is-someone bought it but trys to sell it now! It might not be a packed crowd but for the sales it is like when someone who bought a ticket doesn't make it to the show

Once a seat has been sold on Ticketmaster, it's a sale. If 100 tickets are sold and 20 of them are being re-sold on Stubhub, but no one buys the tickets on Stubhub, the money and profit has already been made. It's 100% sold out with an 80% physical attendance.

 

I got a ticket to see Britney Spears: The Circus Tour live, but because of car problems, I couldn't go. I tried to get a refund, went through a lengthy process, but regardless of my absence, it still sold out.

Thats what im saying. It counts as a sold ticket even if their ass doesn't make it to the seat. So its labeled as a sold out show. But in actuality, theres going to be around 600-700 empty chairs up in that b---h. Meaning its not a full house therefore if you're being real about it and not just going by delusional fan labels, its not legitimately a sold out show because not close to every chair in that place is filled. Its almost like cheating but its not because the ticket was purchased.

 

And some of you act like every ticket on stubhub bought is like a legit person that wanted to go but can't so they're selling it, like it isn't craigslist. Yeah im sure that happens but when theres that many tickets available that means someone bought **** in bulk to sell and make a profit. Even though it counts as a purchased ticket and she can say the show is sold out, its almost like cheating.

I never actually followed concert attendance before so now that ive looked into it and I see how it works im noticing how it is. By comparison if we must, Katy Perry had 36 tickets left yesterday for her show today where as Gaga still has about 700. I think one should be much more inclined to call her show a true sold out show as opposed to this one.

 

im so done with this conversation though. All of you continue calling her show a full house when it isn't and looking the other way. I don't care anymore, I didn't even set out to care in the first place. Some of you are getting me so annoyed that I sound like a hater and im not down with this.

Since I do follow concert attendance and belong to a site that tracks it for tons of artists, on a consistent basis, I can tell you that there have been plenty of Katy Perry concerts with hundreds of tickets left before they took them all offline. No one is calling those shows non-sell outs, due to stubhub tickets and no one is calling Katy a cheater. Anyone who has ever followed concerts for multiple artists would know this is how it works and to think otherwise is what is DELUSIONAL . You are making false assumptions based on an area that you know little to nothing about. THAT is the definition of delusional.

The show tonight is sold out, it is a full house.

Oh my god. Yes. Stubhub bought the tickets and are selling them on their website. They will get the money and its reported as sold out even though it isn't. I get that. Im not interested in whether or not its labeled a sold out show (and at any rate its not really a sold out show and I find it sort of funny that you guys prefer the false label over the truth of the matter but I digress), initially I was only curious to see the attendance of my show seeing as I went to both dates of the btwb last year and noticed that there were a relatively good deal of unsold seats and I thought that was kind of lame. It was a harmless curiosity, but then people kept trying to convince me that it was labeled as sold out so who cares and I was tripping out on the fact that people are like consciously deluding themselves lol

nobody gives a **** if anyone goes to the shows we just want the shows labeled as soldout and we want gaga to make money frankly I would prefer like an intimate 10,000 attendance as long as tickets are sold

the only reason why billboard post Gaga's shows as sold it's because she reached the minimum amount of tickets to be taken as sold out or successful. Of course her shows are not sold out (exempt Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton and L.A.) but all the other shows were not sold out (that means you can still buy tickets 5 minutes before the show).
