There are 4 days between Seoul and Perth... maybe little promo before the show in Perth.

tbh I don't think she's gonna move many tickets in 4 days considering how many have sold in over 4 months. Sure, she should pick up some more sales if the press start covering the fact that she's in Australia, but the album sold so poorly here I think people just don't want to go. :( It's also interesting how the last couple of years in the free MX paper in Melbourne (it's like Metro in NY or Europe for public transport users mostly) they have a column each day where they post some famous peoples tweets and Gaga used to always be in there but this year, she's hardly in there at all. The only one I remember they did was when Gaga took Asia on the surf board.

Honestly, Lets just say that Live Nation realises that they could be doing more and  If there is just a sudden promo boost (lets say starting this weekend) then gaga has a chance of selling the tickets. The only reason gaga has sold poorly here both album and tour tickets is because of the lack of media support. For example katy perry is constantly talked about here, news papers print out reports about her tour, ive seen promo ads everywhere (even in my local shop), her team has a sponsorship with telstra to sell even more tickets and promo. Not to mention Katy has also been to Australia like 3 times this past year, and has performed so much, that is huge promo for her and her tour and finally ive seen electronic billboards for her album and tour. If gagas team and live nation was able to promo the tour then it would be so successful. Another example is beyonce, her tour was promoed everywhere here. The ticket site constantly advertised her tour and radio stations constantly talked about it. Beyonce ended up stacking $40 mill in Aus.

I doubt that's true. Applause got a lot of radio play when it came out and they were talking about the new album then, so people must know the album is there.

This isn't going to happen though. If Live Nation wanted to promote here more then they would have already. Look at the hype before the BTWB shows. She sold out the first 3 Melb shows on the day they went on public sale if I recall. I managed to get crappy seats for the 4th show I think the day after it went on sale (was waiting for my friends to tell me if they wanted to go or not *rolleyes* ).

Also I honestly have not seen that much Katy stuff in the newspapers. I know her songs get high spins on the radio though. And why does everything Gaga does have to be compared to Katy? It annoys me. I don't like Katy. :dies:

But I'm not disagreeing that if the show was promoted properly it would have sold well. It's just that promo in the 4 days between Seoul and Perth probably isn't going to have much impact. If they wanted to promote then they should have done it right when the presale was on.

There's still a lot of room for improvement.. and this way she doesn't exhaust the market like Katys doing atm (is she? I think so).. I'm quite certain that Gaga could possibly have a big comeback, if she has the right style and music for that time, era and country.

I hope too... We will be surprised again...

My predictions:

San Jose: $1.2M (we already saw this from poll-star)

Milwaukee: $1.3M

Atlantic City: $1.2M (higher average ticket price since it's a casino resort place)

Boston: $1M

Montreal: $1M

You mean with this tour, or in the future? In the future, then sure, she can have more popularity again, but for now, this tour...:noparty:
