Biagio2103 6,281
Doesn't Athens have a smaller venue? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Indoor_arenas_in_Greece I'm only good at being bad
bumblebee 2,528
What is the point of feeling disappointed here? Let us just enjoy a Gaga show. It is still an amazing venue and yeah, the upper section was not put on sale. The show will still do fine and I feel very happy for fans who waited so long for her to play Athens. IT IS NOT LIKE GAGA SAID THIS IS HER LAST TOUR. She is planning to tour more, and there will be amazing stadiums and huge attendances
miss anthropy 0
Gaga will be here in a few minutes and... Maybe they should have put up curtains.... Jokes aside, it's still a pretty big crowd though. Guesstimating maybe 20K?

IT IS NOT LIKE GAGA SAID THIS IS HER LAST TOUR. She is planning to tour more, and there will be amazing stadiums and huge attendances We are only disappointed by the fans (or the promoters?) that reported : "The show will be sold-out", "I asked the promoters and they told me that 52k tickets have been sold", etc. Lies are disgusting. The hype was unbelievable for that show because everyone thought it would be the biggest show, the biggest attendance of the tour. However, yes, I'm happy for them, let's hope they'll appreciate the show ! Edited September 19, 2014 by Rainbow Unicorn

I know that freaking out about attendances is something which makes a fan a fan, but I think it is a bit useless to care about the sales of the show before the show. Unless some of us have a marketing/advertising agency in the area of her concert and can contact local Live Nation representatives for promotion cooperation, there is almost nothing we can do to make the tickets sell better So we could just be observing and enjoying the concerts without the unnecessary over-hyping ourselves, and remember that even in the so-called small crowds there may be a fan whose life will be changed forever because of the beautiful, enchanting experience her concert is
