That J 12,166
Stop telling me to "just stop" when you're the one continuing a conversation. It is on topic, I wasn't the one that started to shift the topic to 1D someone else did. If you had a conversation with someone and it began to change would you just end the conversation? No. These are boards to have conversations. And I'm sorry but the "music industry" may have given Gaga loads of awards in the past but she's not even getting nominations these days. I'm not saying Gaga isn't talented or that she isn't a good songwriter, but for all the "Na na na na na na na na"s in 1D's songs there's a lot of "Eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh eh" and "plause plause" and "OH oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh oh oh" in Gaga's. Sure "Dope" is a better written song than "What Makes You Beautiful" but "Story of my Life" is a better written song than "Money Honey," "Eh Eh," "Starstruck," or "Jewels N' Drugs" There's a reason 1D are currently more popular than Gaga. Their management has their **** together. Gaga will never top this tour... There's a big difference in having what can be called "simple" songs yet being a "different" artist. 1D are simple themselves. At least Gaga has an act. 1D are just a bunch of boys who are making mad money by being simple. Nothing wrong with that per se but it's nothing that will be remembered in 25 years. Even if Gaga is over as the bitter queens say, nobody's gonna forget her act. Period And yea I just slut shamed 1D. So? Back on topic (finally), I want the box scores as much as everyone but I don't even know if they matter. If they list San Antonio, for example, as sold out...we will all roll our eyes. I AM curious to learn the Tours official final gross and we may not get even the N.A. Numbers until we get that total gross. That would be weird but what isn't in this fanbase? ;) Edit to add: I noticed one seat empty in one of the pics posted 82 pages ago. We need to redo our entire estimates for the whole tour! I'm kidding ;) Edited August 28, 2014 by MonsterJames333 The Idler Wheel Is Wiser Than The Driver Of The Screw
VforVendetta 2,024
We are on a Lady Gaga forum, a woman who rhymes Money with Honey and sweet with retweet and calls it art... Don't even embarass yourself. If this is what Lady Gaga means to you then you don't desrve anything more than One Direction so there is nothing else to say. DrCake 1,743
I was looking some TV report about Gaga's concert in Montreal, and in this one the host said there was 13,889 people in Montreal's show, that's mean it was not sold out, but still good numbers http://tva.canoe.ca/emissions/salutbonjour/chroniques/sb/chroniqueculturelle/218636/lady-gaga-au-centre-bell They always report such numbers for everyone that performs at the Bell Center, but they never turn out to be real. I remember they reported over 17,500 tickets were sold for Rihanna's show there and it turned out to be a lot lower than that. But anyway, having 14k tickets sold isn't bad at all. WarriorPrince 1
Approximated stats for the ARTPOP Ball, once it's finished: NA Leg: 442,000 tickets sold Approx: 45M Gross Asia Leg: 2x Chiba Marine stadium: 60,000 tickets Dubai: Meydan Racecourse 25-30,000 tickets Approx: 12-14M gross AUS Leg: Perth: 12,000 / 13,000 Melbourne (x2): 17,000 / 21,000 Brisbane: 10,500 / 11,000 Sidney (x2): 19,500 / 22,000 = 59,000 tickets sold (Worst case scenario) = Approx: 6M Gross EU Leg: Tel Aviv: approx. 25,000 tickets Istanbul: approx. 25,000 tickets Athens: approx. 50,000 tickets Antwerp: approx. 15,000 tickets Amsterdam: approx. 15,000 tickets Herning: aprox. 10,000 tickets Oslo: approx. 15,000 tickets Stockholm: approx: 15,000 tickets Hamburg: approx. 11,000 tickets Prague: approx. 14,000 tickets Koln: approx. 12,000 tickets Berlin: approx. 12,000 tickets Paris: approx. 27,000 tickets Vienna: approx. 13,000 tickets Milan: approx. 12,000 tickets Zurich: approx. 13,000 tickets Barcelona: approx. 17,000 tickets Lisbon: approx. 13,000 tickets = 305,000 tickets _____ Birmingham: approx. 23,000 tickets Dublin: approx. 10,000 tickets Glasgow: approx. 22,000 tickets Manchester: approx. 15,000 tickets London: approx. 45,000 tickets Sheffield: approx. 10,000 tickets Newcastle: approx. 10,000 tickets = 135,000 tickets for the UK leg Full EU Leg: 440,000 tickets Approx. gross: 40M = 442k + 60k + 60k + 440k = 1M tickets sold = 45M + 12M + 6M + 40M = 103M gross. I calculated these based on the real capacities for each specific arena & stadium (mostly taken the BTWB & Diamonds World Tour - Rihanna) and based on the state of ticket sales and average prices. Since Europe's ticket prices on average or more expensive than U.S. The tour should cross 1M ticket sales and will gross 100M from only 78 dates. Seems accurate, but i bet that the European leg will do better than that.

But isn't it a bit overestimated in some cities ? Particularly Amsterdam (I would say between 13,000-13,500), Oslo (12,000-14,000), Prague (9,000-9,500+), Stockholm (just because the full capacity is between 13,500-14,000), Berlin (10,500-11,000), and Milan (like Stockholm, the full capacity is between 9,500-10,500). And I think she'll do more in Antwerp (probably more like 16,000+), Hamburg (12,500+), Paris (28,000), Sheffield (11,000+), Vienna (she'll do around 14k) and a little bit more for Koln (13,000+), Dublin (11,000) and London (46,500). Don't you think ? :) Edited August 28, 2014 by Rainbow Unicorn

I think the capacity for Gaga is around 15,000. It would mean that she sold between 12,500-13,000 tickets for this show ! This is great. Is StrawberryBlond ok to fix it in the OP ? :) SEPTEMBER 24 - AMSTERDAM - Ziggo Dome - TICKETS AVAILABLE - 12,500+/15,000 (83%) Edited August 28, 2014 by Rainbow Unicorn

Don't you think ? :) Amsterdam will probably be around 15k it's a HUGE arena. My mistake on Oslo, I meant to put 14k. Well the O2 Arena in Prague can hold up to 18k so I'm guessing 13-14k for that one. Edit: I edited and fixed a few of the capacities. Ok :) Because there are probably less than 2k tickets for Amsterdam (1.1k seats left). And for Prague, the arena has a capacity of between 15.5k and 16k for end-stage concerts (according to boxscores, like Justin Timberlake, his show was sold-out) like Gaga and the show has 7,224 tickets left so... It'd mean that between 8,276 and 8,776 tickets have been sold by now. Thanks for your chart ! :) Edited August 28, 2014 by Rainbow Unicorn
Fahs 183
I work in a Media Agency here in Dubai and today we met with AWI who are organizing the concert. Gaga has so far sold approximately 12,000 tickets. They said that ticket sales have picked up the pace only recently because of summer season. The concert will be AC'd and there will be no runway. Asia and Gaga's other dogs will be here in Dubai when she arrives on the 8th.
