It is, but it costs a lot to go to some countries which explains high ticket prices in Taiwan for example. They need way more gross from a date in Taiwan to actually get profit than from a date in (for example) Boston.

Impossible, because she won't gross more than $1.6M in Perth, Brisbane. It will be difficult for Melbourne and Sydney shows as well.

Tbh the only thing that's bothering me is that LADY ****ING GAGA having a small tour will equate to SO MUCH wasted potential..

Katy's team is executing everything perfectly, and hence she's utilising her maximum touring potential and selling out everywhere. Gaga not promoting in so many areas shows that her team is deliberately wanting not just a small tour, but an unpopular one..EVEN the areas where SHE IS going, like Australia, are not sold out. 

She can have a small tour, but at least promote it enough to popularise it. :shy: :emo:

 

 

Gaga's tour isn't unpopular. It will end up being in the top 10 for the year and she will end up with another entry into the top 20 tours of all female performers. That isn't an unpopular tour!

 

BTW, even Katy isn't selling out everywhere. We just saw an 87% capacity report from the UK.

Very few artists sell out every single show, and even fewer do it for more than one tour.

 

Gaga and her team are simply choosing to do a tour that doesn't take up every second of her life over the next 18 months. People get older and have different priorities or views on what they want out of a career and their life in general. I'm sure an injury that could have ended her career, and possibly even carried over into her life outside of music and touring, made Gaga stop and put things into perspective. There is more to life than "beating Katy in tour numbers for one era". You may be focused on this, but remember...Gaga may very well care less about this silly competition!

It doesn't sell out at 70 actually but at 60k. It has taken 70 with Madonna but at 60 the stadium is already packed and Madonna had a only small center catwalk.

her tour is being promoted on the radio here in Australia, ive been hearing advertisements a lot more recently.
