somechick 1 Posted May 21, 2014 Share Posted May 21, 2014 I'm going to the 7/19 show and I got aĀ low rate across the Strip at Excalibur. Not the greatest hotel but I'm not picky. I would say "across the street" btu if you've been to Vegas, across the street can mean a half-mile walk to where you want to go! Or you could just stay at MGM Grand if you have enough money. We tried for the BTWBall and they threatened to have us arrested because loitering on MGM property is illegal. They have a meetup inside casino conference rooms where they hold people with GA like 30 minutes to an hour before the shows. They let people line up at Mohegan Sun (or at least they were smart and gave out some wrist bands, but there was still a queue). Ā Guess I won't say hello to anyone then. You can say hi lol Vegas is different than Mohegan Sun tho. The resort is on the strip and there are casinos across from it and adjacent to it. I have been to Vegas before (and I'm a travel agent), just not for a concert of any sort (I actually stayed across the road at NYNY the first time I went). I'm just stating what happened last time we tried to camp and the time before that at the MB. Everyone from LA and a lot of people from NY are coming to this show. Ā I'm also literally the whitest person ever and if Im in the sun for 10 minutes I burn. Perhaps this wasn't the greatest of ideas LOL Ā I want to meet omfg! Ā The sun here is absolutely crazy.
