Brian Newman 200
Great pics! I was just wondering, do you have a good view of the main stage from there? If you are in the right spot, yes. I was able to see right under that middle catwalk to the main stage!

Battle 4 Ur Life 6,617
Scattered thoughts on the CT show: - First of all, in my opinion, nothing about this tour is underwhelming. It's in top-notch condition, and can only get better. - It takes great star power and presence to wear these costumes, as opposed to letting them wear you. - MJH and Swine were made for this specific environment. They need to be performed full-length, but they were stellar nonetheless. - She has grown immensely as a performer. Her pose, her confidence, her charisma, her VOCALS... The work she's been doing with Marina is paying off like crazy. - For the life of me, I will never understand why more people don't love this album. But that's neither here nor there. The point is, ARTPOP is a beast in an arena setting. It was composed for maximum impact in vast, populated spaces. I'm sure of it. - Pay as much attention to the interludes as possible, and to the screens in general throughout. There is some stunning imagery going on, Ruth Hogben has outdone herself. - Gaga is glowing onstage, she looks genuinely thrilled to be there. Again, her vocals were some of the best I've ever heard from her. For the record, she could definitely be heard singing the choruses (except "Telephone"). - To those who are attending in the future, abandon all expectations and just enjoy the show. NO LIES WERE TOLD. ”I’m falling over in my 9 inch heels”
somechick 1
The RAVE outfit has changed a bit! Edit: She just removed the skirt, probably didn't have time to put it on during the on-stage change! She had the skirt on - she just took it off after Bad Romance. :)
somechick 1
Dunno if anyone will see this but my report on the show: Took the bus for 4hrs from NYC to Mohegan Sun. Got there at about 3:30pm, so went to pick up my ticket, then just spent time walking around the casino and seeing all the costumes/outfits people were wearing. The line wasn't very big when i got there, but I see now they got numbers so it makes sense. I had a seat, so had to wait till LMZ and GA were let in, but I got in about 6:40pm and went straight to the merch booth to buy some stuff and the extra programs people had asked for. They guy said they only had one left and he had to take it out of the display so I could have it! He said to come back later because they would have some more. I went in to the arena and was shown to my seat. I was row C so I thought third row, but I was actually front row as there is no rows A or B! So that was a nice surprise. Although the stage was so close - I was right near the piano about 5 m from Gaga! But it really restricted viewing because the piano is so high. I couldn't see much of Paparazzi and I think it was Sexxx Dreams because the piano was blocking that part of the stage. My view of the stage from my seat (taken at just before 7pm hence it's quite empty): Hatsune Miku came on just after 7pm and it was interesting - at least for the first couple of songs coz I hadn't seen anything like it before. After that it just kinda got annoying because you couldn't understand what was being sung and it was a bit shrieky. it went for about 25mins I guess. Lady Starlight went on about 7:50pm. I have to say I was actually surprised because it didn't sucks as much as I was expecting. She was on for about 50mins and she was just on stage dj'ing and the music fit in with the rave theme at least. It was just beats you expect to hear at a club really. It was much better than what she did before the BTWB (well in Australia but I assume she did the same at all the shows she opened for). Gaga came on at 9pm and I was up and dancing and singing along. I took a couple of photo's from the opening song: I thought I probably wouldn't see much of the show but i was surprised how often she was coming up the runway to near the piano. I managed to get a couple of decent photo's but when she was playing the piano, the spotlight was pointed in a way that she ends up being whitewashed. :( I did manage to record all of the speech before BTW because I thought she was just gonna start singing as soon as she sat down. She spoke about how Natali just graduated from Fashion College and that the family were there (checked the ARTPOP Zone and see them all standing there like 5 metres from me!) I'm trying to upload the vid to youtube right now but it's taking like forever. *ugh* I also spotted Cynthia and Natali dancing and singing when MJH was on. In Gypsy, Gaga asked a little girl from the ARTPOP Zone (at least I think she was in there couldn't really see coz the piano was blocking it ) to come up to the piano with her. They sung a chorus together and then Gaga told her to jump when the real music kicked in. I also have a vid of some of that but I think it's gonna take too long to upload right now. Can't wait till the MSG show...GA tix. :D Picked mine up today already. I had an absolute blast at the show. Gaga's singing was great and most of the time I could hear her, so I dunno if they lowered the backing vocals or what...still a little bummed at some of the set list, but it certainly didn't stop me from enjoying myself.
